O&A 3D Gallery in Outerworlds Update
Since my build in Outerworlds has turned into a Photoshop, Flash, and Video gallery... I thought I might as well start a new thread about it in the Photoshop forum.
"NUGHUFFER" still hasn't been able to get there, and has been wanting to know how his updated newsletters look there. Here it is "NUG"...
I also redesigned the second floor with a NEW "Whifflebatlube" photoshop gallery, since the old LARGE one was torn down by the September "Realtor" Tsunami that hit my area in the Burbs last Fall.
If you new listeners want to read up on this history of OW on Wackbag, you can read this thread.
Here is what the entrance to the "NEW Whifflebatlube Photoshop Gallery" looks like...
The final update is an addition to more video and flash presentation choices on the top floor. I actually found a couple of funny Hoo Hoo Howie flash presentations on Foundry. I unzipped them and uploaded them to my web area so people can watch them with one click. Check it out...
As always, click on my sig pic for instructions how to download the 3D browser and how to get to my build area. For those with Mac's or just can't get there... here is one of the Hoo Hoo flash presentations you can check out without going to OW...

Nug,
You should find some "Spyware protection software". That is the main reason many computers are slowing down. I had a port problem because my son had pulled USB connections out and didn't replace them back correctly. That caused my spyware protection software not to load properly during startup which caused my entire computer to slow down during the Christmas break. I finally got around to fixing the port error, which brought my protection software up again and removed all those spyware ads that were slowing my computer to a crawl.
Until you get it fixed, I also created an animated "gif" (like I did for CornJob and FlightRisk) so you can see your section along with the new updated sections. Keep in mind I used a freeware "animated gif program" to make this, so the color and graphics are alot better when you use the actual Outerworlds program...

I am glad your bringing this up in this thread, so if future O&A listeners have the same problem we can help them as well. What you've told me in the past, your OW software locks on this screen...
That tells me it is looking for your online connection and never finds the OW server because of a possible firewall or virus protection software that blocks such programs from connecting to the server. I still believe the answer to your problem can be found either from this MAIN OUTERWORLDS HELP PAGE or specifically THIS PAGE concerning firewalls. Have you had any other trouble installing other chat software?
You should eventually connect to the Outerworlds server and get this screen to pop up...
If anyone else has any suggestions for Nug's problem, please post them.

Since "PatFromMoonachie" has become a HUGE part of the show, I thought I would give him his own section in OW. I am always fighting memory space, and his section is on the top level, so I have limited memory space to work with.
Great job on the show today, Pat... here is your section in OW...

The latest OW update combines "T Brokenjaw's" latest photoshop of Opie holding his banana phone and "cigarsandscotch's" find of the banana phone flash movie from newgrounds.com.
For those who can't get to OW, just click on the below picture to watch the banana flash movie directly...
Thanks guys for bringing these elements to the OW gallery!

With all the new artists and the amount of GREAT incoming work, it's getting so hard to decide which work to take down and replace with new images. I try and place some of the better images in parts of the gallery I don't rotate that often.
Your sepia toned "Laurel and Hardy" (with Di/Dee Dee) was one of those images I wanted to place in a special area. I am hoping that given time, Dee Dee will still somehow be a character on the show. Your image shows the contrast between a great new character, and a miserable old one that we are stuck with...
Thanks again Razor for the nice comments and the great work!

Nug,
It still sucks that you can't get there. I'll keep taking screen captures so you can at least see your work in 2 dimensions here. I hung your latest photoshop entry in the daily updated area...
Thanks again Nug!

UPDATE:
I added some computer links in OW because of the XM3 sattellite launch, and I decided to add a link to Wackbag again. These links take up a huge amount of memory space, but I am going to try and keep the Wackbag link up even after the launch.
These new browser links are also different from the past since the link takes up the main window. So when you click on it you don't see the 3D enviroment anymore and just see the message board. You have to click on that "X" below the "AW" logo in order to get back to the 3D OW screen.
Check it out...

I didn't create that Stern/limo flash thing... that was something I found in the bowels of Foundrymusic. I just unzipped it and uploaded the flash file to my web area and featured it in OW.
Thanks for checking out my area in Outerworlds.

Thanks for your continued support BB1!
On a total seperate topic... I was going to start a thread about...
"What should Patty do with her $770?"
When the boys found out she was still on dialup... they said why? Patty should get rid of her home phone line which would save her that monthly expense and get a cable modem now that she has a little nest egg to help pay for the little extra amount a month.
She doesn't need two phones, and she could have fun checking out all Outerworlds has to offer, with the quickness a cable modem will bring her.
Come on Patty... drop the home phone line and step up to this century of cable speed!

Thanks!
When I logged in this morning, I noticed the XM3 Launch Cam images had changed and the rocket is once again in place. When I checked the web links it informed me the launch is scheduled TONIGHT (Tues., Feb. 22) between 10pm - 11pm (EST).
This is the first event people can actually come to OW to watch something happen.
Come check it out TONIGHT...
