Dare I say that we start a forum for solid static 'shops and animations? Or just keep it all together? People get better every day. And while he may not get as many remarks because of the new ani's, Freak8 does some real quality pics. Keep up the good work!

Metalsign, I know you mean well here. However, I think the current situation is the best. There seems to be almost a backlash on Otto and others with their animations because they are so good. Unless their work is segregated from the rest, the argument seems to be, everyone else will give up. I find that kind of at odds with what is so great about this particular forum. Here you have professional artists and talented amateurs posting side-by-side with Photoshop newbies (taking their first eager stabs at Laci and Terri). All the while, there's an atmosphere of acceptance towards all of it. And just because a great animation automatically brings in stunned praise doesn't mean we aren't also enjoying the still Shops and the less-professional (but funny) work. It's all good, even when it all isn't good (if you catch my drift).
I don't usually clutter up these boards with praise notes just because-- well it's clutter when you overdo it. I do think the posters here know, whether their post is specifically praised or not, that it all is appreciated. The animations lately are nothing short of stunning. Meanwhile, so many still shots are beyond what anyone here should expect (for free or even seven cents a day). And I've got to tell ya-- I laughed very hard recently at a crudely Shopped still with a very funny premise (naked Norton=always funny).
In other words-- don't hate Otto because his hair is perfect (or whatever). It's the avalanche of creativity here from all who contribute that makes this forum (as Pat O'Brien would say) so fucking hot.

The funny thing about seeing Opie with a guitar is the sight I saw last night on the PBS Hi-Def channel. I was channel surfing when I spotted a concert there by Phish. Goddamit if that lead singer didn't look like a clone of Mr. Hughes (if he was wearing wire-rim glasses that is).
