Last week it was Cal Ripken, this week it's Tony Gwynn. Another future Hall of Famer is calling it quits. Gwynn, a .338 lifetime hitter, will soon announce that he will retire at the end of the season, USA Today's Baseball Weekly and the Associated Press reported on Wednesday.
As much as Tony Gwynn hurt my Mets over the years, I must say that this is not only a loss of one of the best pure hitters in the game,But definately one of the class acts and all around good guys in the game.Tony will be missed by this fan.Thanx Tony, Good luck
