Police say 63-year-old Dean Schwartzmiller is charged with seven felonies involving the alleged abuse of a pair of San Jose boys. Authorities say Schwartzmiller befriended the kids, inviting them into his home to play video games and watch movies. Investigators who searched the home say they found several binders containing hundreds of images of child pornography, along with seven disturbing diaries with more than 36-thousand names of children and codes thought to indicate certain kinds of sex acts performed with each of the victims. The man is also suspected in child molestation cases in Oregon, Arkansas, Idaho, and New York and may have victims in Mexico and South America. Schwartzmiller's house mate, who is another convicted child molester, was also taken into custody.
