Harry still on the show?
With no O&A this week, I've been listening to all of Ron and Fez everyday. I realized the other day I don't think they've trashed Harry or tried to get his mom on the phone. Is he still there? Wasn't sure if I missed something. I know the interns are all gone and they get some new ones next week, but I thought Harry had the equivalent of Hawk's job.

They said he's on a "sabbatical", so I've gotta figure he's going through some personal problems.

After the Staples/Harry fight I don't think I can completely hate Harry ever again. As much as I don't like Harry, consider him whiny, annoying, etc. and hate his hack comedy and how clearly he rips someone off, I despise Staples and his "I am never wrong" jolliness. Also once we met his mother, his character really became more well rounded as a beaten down loser.
I mean I don't like Harry, but I understand him more, and I think he definitely has been improving as an onair personality. Nothing like reaching rock bottom.

Anyone remember which show they brought up Harry's absence? I must of missed it that part.
I hate to say it, but these past few weeks Harry has been a lot more tolerable to listen to. Maybe getting all that suicide stuff off his chest made him relax a bit, because something definitely changed after that show.
And the mother bit was great, I was hoping for a weekly segment with Harry's mom. Not to be, I suppose.

It was said at some point during yestrdays show...Ron said "Harry says hes on sabatical, I don't even know what that means" And they also mentioned at one point that they have no interns and no producer

I always liked Harry. I agree that the bitching with him got excessive but I've always thought he was funny and a fairly good fall guy.

I got some good belly laughs during the "Master Po & Ron vs. Harry" bits.
Nothing quite like a good indian burn.

He really was a great radio bottom, that's for sure. I wonder how he managed to take all the abuse he got for so long.
If he had just acted normally from the start like he was in the mock show and the last few weeks, it wouldn't of been so bad.

Does anybody know the date of that argument? I'm afraid I don't listen to Ron and Fez as religously as I do O&An

Interesting point, maybe Harry was one of the magic carpet riders that got killed in that stampede in Mecca.

I always give Harry the benefit of the doubt. I mean, he's my age and a producer of a major radio talk show, so he can't be completely inept. I do feel like he's improved and that Ron and Fez don't seem to rag on him as much. In terms of being on the air, he can completely kill a good bit and sometimes he brings the entire show down... but like I said, I think he's improving all around. I hope he's not done with the show.
His mom is funny.
