Ron and Fez need new material

Guys, I have always loved your show, but for the past few weeks, all you seem to talk about is fucking football and betting. It's aweful.

I got XM in December of '04, and since that time, I have spent 99% of my time in the car listening to XM202. Now I find myself switching around during Ron and Fez, because it is the same fucking discussion for 3 weeks straight, maybe more.

Enough with the football, I have a shitload of football channels to pick from.

Please, for the love of God, stop talking about "your teams" as if you actually had anything to do with any football team.

Football fanatics are nothing more than non-athletic guys trying to be competitors without getting off their couch and risk spilling their Coor's Lite.

It makes for aweful radio, seriously.

Please, make it stop.

1. Ron and Fez rule and the last couple weeks of thier show have been great.

2. I am a football fantatic and I am not some fat guy that can't do anything. That and Coor's Lite is a chick's beer. I say we lost the game because it feels that way to me. I am the biggest Colts fan there is and I just feel like I lost the game too so "we lost the game" comes out of my mouth. I am not stupid I know I have nothing to do with them losing or winning, but I do say it.

Thank you for finally showing your true colors. You aren't a fan who dislikes a certain bit or part of the program as you painted yourself to be originally. You don't like the show and never have. Stop listening, no one cares if you enjoy it or not.

This strawman argument always works so well. Not everyone enjoys when they discuss football, most people disliked the Elfish bet thing, at least until Ron's fantastic break on LSD. People just hate your foolish claims that there are dozens of channels on XM that do nothing but talk about football, and the fact that you wrote an open letter to Ron & Fez on this message board as if they not only will read it, but listen to it and will change their show because Howard's Yam Bag doesn't enjoy something and says it's "aweful (sic)".

What bit would it be that sucks? The bit where, according to you, they sit around and seriously discuss football stats while talking about how "their team" is going to kick the ass of "your team"? That wouldn't be a bit. You are saying their entire show is nothing but two men who can (LOL) "Barely run up a flight of stairs!" (LOL) talking about football for three hours. But o&a are a different show than ron and fez. It is a lot more laid back style show with some of the best sarcasm I have ever heard. I am a die hard o&a fan first and never thought I would like ron and fez. but after listening for a few weeks I am hooked. I just wish they replayed their show at drive times on another channel perhaps. I don't get to listen to them everyday.

One thing is certain not every o&a fan here will love ron & fez.

What little I listened to today was great... I didn't hear anything about football but Fez read from his imaginary book about having a heart attack - Radio Gold.

I too hate the betting bit and have curbed my listening, but talking to you guys I am not giving up hope on the show; as long as it ends after the Super Bowl I will dive back in.

As a bit, that would be funny, but not when it occupies 80% of the airtime for a couple weeks straight.

Oh yea, Ron and Fez aren't in the same league as O&A. They haven't both paid years of dues and showed they can be a huge success in multiple markets.

I was simply bummed that the Elfish crap and betting bits were so over the top and lasted so long that for the first time in months I had to change the channel.

Now as luck would have it, I made the post and then today their show appears to be back to normal, so I guess you can call me premature Peter.
