Ron and Fez Weekend replay schedule? - The Unofficial Opie and Anthony Message Board

Does anyone know what the RnF replay schedule is during the weekend?
In the past it was as follows:

Mondays show - 1100a-200p Saturday

Tuesdays show - 600p-900p Saturday

Wednesdays show - 400a-700a Sunday

Thursdays show - 1100a-200p Sunday

Fridays show - 400a-700a Sunday and 600p-900p Sunday

I ask b/c i missed nearly all of this weeks show b/c of work and was planning on catching up over the weekend. i tune in and they where not on today (besides Fridays show i think ? from 11a-200p Saturday).

I find this very frustrating b/c i rarely miss a show never mind an entire week. Why cant whoever runs the channel let us listeners know of any changes?

Looks like the hours have changed...no official word yet, but so far this weekend it's been...

SATURDAYS

6-9am - Monday Replay
3-6pm - Tuesday Replay

IF THEY CONTINUE with this, then maybe this is the schedule for Sunday...

12-3am - Wednesday Replay
9am - Noon - Thursday Replay
6pm - 9pm - Friday Replay

It would actually be an improvement over the previous replay schedule, which buried the Wednesday replays in the middle of the night.

You know - when they promised us last year that they were "putting the band back together," there should have been a warning that it was going to be like the 1996 Kiss Reunion Tour, when Peter and Ace were definately treated like hired guns and not equals with Gene and Paul.

They just need there own channel. I have been enjoying listening to R&F more then O&A lately. O&A keep repeating old bits over and over again it is starting to get old fast.

Also were are all the AFRO shows, I think we got 2 since they got the band back together.

As a bigger Ron and Fez fan than an O&A fan I have to be honest. Ron and Fez's show isn't big enough for it's own channel at this point it seems. They have the juice if you ask me, but they're not getting their own channel, especially if it competes against O&A at all.

I'm tired of hearing that Ron and Fez are on at 11 (and now Noon) so we can get AFRO shows. Fuck AFRO shows. I've heard, what, 2 AFRO shows since I jumped on board (slightly after R&F moved) and it was funny, but not funny enough to put up with a bullshit timeslot every other day.

I think it just says "best of the week" but they are playing different shows. On the odd moments when I catch an R+F on the weekend (not that I'm not seeking them out, but it's hard to eke theme out with the same fucking O+A bit played ad nauseum) but it's different. Yesterday there was The Crazy Jen tape (which immediately followed the Jocko Graves discussion which was right after the Great White discussion) and right now they're doing the post-crazy jen recap where she talks about mailing in the XM.

I don't think the R+F Weekend Replay Schedule has been changed where we only get one show, I think the pad data has changed.

This being said, for the love of Jesus, we need more R+F replays or them at more easily accessible hours. I'm tired of getting the same six hours of lame O+A bullshit with only the rare chance of catching the 3 hours haven of full show goodness.

As I explained in the other replay thread, 202 has 45 hours of fresh material. There are 48 hours in the weekend. Why make 30 of those hours being the same 6 hours over and over again? O+A, like R+F, though not as much, is a show that benefits getting into the zone. If you're so desperate to play the interviews again, you have those extra 3 hours. It's just common sense people!!

O&A are getting real old. Too much of them, not enough RnF, same replays over and over of boring-ass James Carvell or whatever random nonsense.
O&A show has completely changed for the worse, I don't care what anyone says. Some parts have been great, but overall its just too much. They keep rehashing the same old shit because now they have more time they need to fill. Only a matter of time til they become Don and Mike.

Thats a little harsh. O&A are in the weird spot of being able to say whatever the fuck they want and being dogcollared for the first half of the show. Plus it has been awhile since terrestrial so some of the old stuff has to be reintroduced, they can't just play to the hardcore fans and expect to be successful. Ron and Fez have a great show, only ever heard it once before XM (their last show on wjfk), yeah the lack of Afro shows is disappointing. I'd love if they were on like 6-10 pm est or something.
