Police stand off handled incorrectly, someone with an itchy trigger finger shoots early and off target. Dog and the murder suspect both die. Even though it was a police mistake, this makes the golfers being golfers thread because only a golfer would hold on to the gun when in a police stand off trapped against a wall.

I don't feel sorry for a human of any color who's stupid enough not to drop his gun when confronted by the police. The dog, though, represents a trained animal that will cost thousands to replace. There are innumerable idiots that invite being shot by the police, however.

It was one officer who let the dog loose, and another officer who initiated fire. Your speaking as if all the cops were controlled by one brain. 1 cop fucked up, depending on the orders it was either: the one who released the dog, the one who initiated fire, or the one who was in command.

you're right. and i would have to say it was all 3 of those so it was 3 cops that fucked up. the one who released the dog, the one who initiated fire, and the one in command. i think my point is the dog didn't have to die if the cops were in control of the situation.
