Default Free Speech

Does Wackbag cripple users or not? I only ask this because a month ago when I came here, I could read the posts, but as soon as I saw one, and logged in to give my opinion, it took me 10 trys to submit 1 simple post. I was redirected to some FAQ page. Isn't this against what the boys stand for?

No, because O & A don't run the board.

There is a time frame between posts where new users can't post back to back to prevent post whoring.

This is a private, fan run message board. O&A don't make the rules, we do. If some guy walked into your house and started to call your wife or mother a cunt, you wouldn't allow him to continue because telling him to shut up would be restricting his free speech and be against what O&A stand for, would you?

Are you fucking joking? You think your shitty internet connection is the fault of the board?

No, I think it odd that I can read any page I want, but when I log in nothing works.

Either you did a horrible job describing the symptoms or you have a bowl haircut and a big tongue.

There are restrictions for newer users. It forces them to familiarize themselves with the board before posting too much and restricts attack attempts.

Edit: looking at your usergroup, you shouldn't have tose restrictions. If your having problems with your account I would PM Zagman and see if he can help you.

Except he is saying he wasn't able to post 1 post. It would take 10 attempts to effectively submit one. Sounds like he has a shitty dial up.

so newer users who log in, are lesser than people who don't log in? It seemed that I could read any thread I wanted with no trouble. When I logged in maybe 1 out of 10 times a page would load up.

It shouldn't do that. There was obviously a problem. Are you still having the problem?

I think that is something with your connection/isp/browser/computer - your account is no different than 3/4 of the accounts here. Perhaps you're viewing the site through a proxy of some sort, and that is slowing it down?

Nice thread, deek.

I've heard that Australians have an average IQ 5-10 points less than the world average.

You just blew my mind.

I have come to WB, and I have said silly shit in the past, I can admit that.

I have come back, and can view any thread I want, but when I log in. I can't, that is what made me start this thread.

But if you are posting now, you are logged in & you can view the thread.

What is the problem?

my problem is, that in the past, there has been a difference when I am logged out, and when I am logged in. This has happened on multiple occassions, and note how this thread is being moved to the side.

try clearing your cache, delete your wackbag cookies, switch browsers...

if you were coming from AOL, I could tell you right away that that is what the problem is - AOL does some really funky routing/caching, and a lot of people have issues with it from time to time.
