Ok, let's get it rolling. Some people liked the Yahoo game, some didn't.
Any sugesstions on a game for this year? Any choices need to be free games.
I don't expect people to pony up cash just for fun. Let's hear what you think.

You're always gonna get some dropouts thru a season as long as Nascar's.
I really expect that.
I'd just like to know if there are any other fantasy games out there that
others have played that they liked or if the Yahoo league was ok.

The Bud Shootout is about 1 month away, so we need to get
something set up soon.

Yahoo seems to be the favored but I'll leave it open for a little while.
The 500 isn't for another 38 days or so. We still have some time
to look at anyone's suggestion of another one. If not, I'll get it set

Part of the deal when Nextel took over in 2004. Alltel and Cingular were allowed to stay in Cup racing as long as they:
1. Stayed with the same team and car number.

The Cingular name is going bye bye, being absorbed into AT&T / BellSouth.

If you look at Newman and Burton's firesuits and apparel, the Nextel logo is grey instead of the normal yellow.

The 42 BellSouth Chevy that Kenny Irwin Jr drove until he died in 2000 became the 01 BellSouth Chevy after Sabco renumbered it two weeks later. After the merger of BellSouth and some other companies during the off-season, the 01 BellSouth Chevy became the 01 Cingular Dodge with Jason Leffler driving for the beginning of the 2001 season. Cingular left the 01 team after 2001 and went to RCR for 2002. The 01 car evolved into what is now the 41 team.
And you are all that much smarter now.

Ok. I got it now. I've noticed that they had the nextel logo in grey but never put two and two together that that would be why. But like said before. I don't think Burton will have as much trouble finding a sponsor as he did when he was with the 99. He had a great run last year.
