I was laughing my ass off yesterday at the Daily Mirror article that said he had "millions of fans of his CNN show." The March 1st ratings put him at 87,000. No, I'm not joking. He has 13 times more twitter followers than viewers.
They can't help themselves. Problem is, the media will go right along with it instead of calling them out on it.
Whenever one of these news shows mentions how popular they are, I find great satisfaction in knowing that Red Eye, at 3 AM, blows most of them out of the water with ~450,000 viewers.
I know what your point is. That's why I ignored you. But, just as a fun fact: the US exports less than 20 million barrels of crude oil a year, and produces 2 billion+. Less than 1% of production is exported, and even that just goes to Canada, which in turn exports a lot more right back to the US. Anyone who thinks Exxon would sell US produced crude to China is just regurgitating mindless leftist propaganda. I have more respect for Kirk. At least his idiocy can't always be demonstrated just by pointing at the Pacific Fucking Ocean. Comment, @VicVinegar ?
Liberals point out how GOP presidents have supported right-wing dictatorships over the years, but then they put on Che Guevara T-shirts and sing the praises of Chavez, Castro, and Daniel Ortega. I want to know more about the Sean Penn-Maria Conchita Alonzo shouting match.
It is a very very extreme version of not believing everything you read in the paper. These people are so convinced that America is evil and there are these imperialist machinations going on behind the scenes that they no longer believe that people like Chavez or Ahmadinejad are bad simply because that's what other people say.
