They will never let Howard do the kind of show that will keep people watching. The E Show was good but his prime was the old Channel 9 show.
I think O&A called it right. This is Howards publicity machine creating rumors to get his name mentioned. It doesn't matter if it's complete bullshit. As long as people are talking about it then it was a success.
Will this be before or after the release of "Rock and Roll High School"? Goddammn movie has been in post-production for 15 years!
At this point... Howie's leaving Sirius would make about as much waves as did Martha Stewart's departure... about half a blip. Even his handful of remaining diehards would probably feel more relief than disappointment.
A company saves 80-100 million a year in payroll and frees up half of its studio space, I can't imagine it would be unnoticeable... Maybe I'm overly optimistic.
For shits n' giggles NBC should put Howie on for a week when Fallon is on vacation. It would interesting to see if he could pull it off without a ratings crater.
At least Erock could put the limo elevator to good use. He must be taxing the hell out of those person elevators A week isn't long enough to judge. I bet even Sam Roberts could pull in numbers for a couple days.
