Ok kids, need some help. Since gas is insane, I decided to take NJ Transit into work today. I am taking it from Point Pleasant Beach NJ to Penn Station.

My question is this...where the hell do you get the southbound train? Its all LIRR where the train drops you in the AM, going home, any ideas what tracks etc? I see nothing in the way of signs to help. I called NJT and the animal that picked up couldnt do a thing other than fill me with more rage.

    Anyone?

I have no idea if this helps, but if you come in at the SW corner of Penn (31st and 8th?), there are a ton of NJ transit trains there. That's where I'd leave from to go to Bergen County. But maybe its different for southbound, I don't know. If you go in that entrance, though, there's a huge board of all the NJ transit trains and what gate they leave from...

Thats what I figured, that they were all above the LIRR trains, but needed some positive thoughts from my dear doves here.

NJ Transit is 8th avenue side, LIRR is 7th avenue side.

i take nj transit every day to newark, then switch to the raritan valley line to go home. if you go in the main entrance (under the huge MSG tv), go down the steps/escalator and just past zaro's on the left you will see the nj transit entrance. you can go either down the ramp/stairs or past the police desk and down the stairs. there you will see the flatscreen monitors hanging up.

Ha, ha. Now your life is in my hands. I'm the North Jersey Coastline train traffic controller. Good luck with the rest of the savage animals who ride my trains.
NJ coastline commuting tip: Wear Kevlar.

Found the train fine, thanks kids.

No knitters. Maybe one for Asbury, no others.

    Lovely.
