Ah fuckballs that sucks. Just imagine how nuts that crowd would be. Fans hating Cena for winning, but then Ziggles knocks him out and cashes in. Biggest pop in his life.
RIP Paul Bearer I thought RAW was eh I don't get the booking at all, why they have to have Cesaro, Barret & Ziggler lose EVERY FUCKING WEEK
A really nice video of Vince & Hunter presenting Mae with a gift for her 90th birthday http://www.wwe.com/videos/mr-mcmaho...y-present-wwecom-exclusive-march-4-2-26096291 its great to see that side of Vince
To me Paul Bearer is like Paul Ellering or JJ Dillon. Decent managers but only so because of the talent they were paired with. He never had the mystique of a Heenan, Jimmy Hart or Captain Lou who seemed to associate themselves wuth a wide variety of talent.
The Undertaker has enough to worry about with getting ready for CM Punk. Now he has to build a casket, embalm Paul, dig a grave.. Having a mortician as a friend, especially one with superpowers like Mark, can really come in handy.
I predict Paul Bearer's ghost will interfere and cost CM Punk the match at WrestleMania. On a side note: if Paul Bearer had really been Kane's father, that would mean he was 11 or 12 when he impregnated Kane's mother. I consider that a lost storyline opportunity for the Attitude-era WWF. Kane learned that Paul was his dad and he killed his parents for being pedos. It couldnt' have gotten a worse reaction than Katie Vick, at the very least.
I met Paul Bearer at the Cauliflower Alley Club last year, and I must admit, he was not in great shape. Not at death's door, but he really needed to drop some pounds. RIP.
I didn't know he was only 58. When he was doing the Perciville Pringle act in WCCW, that would put him around his mid to late twentys. He was a mess back then.
RVD talks going to WWF while in ECW over WCW He knew that things were looking like I may be going to WCW. The fans believed it, the internet reports believed it. Paul had a great idea, he said, what if we could use this momentum and capitalize on it and put the entire spotlight of the industry on you. I said what are you talking about. He said, what if everyone is expecting you to go to WCW, and we announce that you are going to Monday Nights where you belong, and we pull a switch. What if I can get you on WWF TV. And I was like, what the hell are you talking about. He is telling us, how Vince and him hate each other, how WWF wants us to die, cause we are in there backyard. I had no idea, they had a working relationship the whole time we were running, till I watched that DVD documentary, that was my first proof. He denied it all along the way. I said yeah, that sounds awesome, I am an opportunist and I could go to WCW, which by the way, the idea was to put me under a mask and make me the Mortal Kombat character, Glacier. I wasn't wanting to do that, and I ended up not doing that. That wasn't the entertaining part of the offer to me, it wasn't the gimmick, we were talking numbers and stuff. Went to WWF TV while still working for ECW, which to the best of my knowledge hadn't been done. I am all about jumping fences and breaking records and finding ways to put my mark on history, and I thought this was a great way to do it. On WWF TV I was a heel, and when I went back to ECW I was a heel because they thought I worked for WWF.
Some various info from Alvarez: WWE finally got the ball rolling on a full WrestleMania card on Raw this week. The show is still four weeks away so it's not like a disaster that it's taken this long to get more than the top two matches, plus realistically the show is being sold on one match, Rock vs. Cena, and the WrestleMania name, so it's not a major deal. It's interesting that after all the discussion about what kind of angle to do to set up Undertaker vs. CM Punk, what they ended up doing was having Undertaker return, then Punk challenged him, then three other guys wanted the match, and then they did a four-way that Punk won. Hardly the most creative idea anyone's ever come up with. So besides Rock vs. Cena; Alberto Del Rio vs. Jack Swagger; and Punk vs. Undertaker; we've also got Brock Lesnar vs. HHH, as expected; Ryback vs. Mark Henry in a battle of the giants largely designed to actually let Ryback win a match on PPV (it appears the idea of a heel turn has been dropped, at least for the moment); and Shield vs. Big Show & Sheamus & Randy Orton. For the record, the idea of Orton turning heel is still on the books, though now it's looking like it'll take place after WrestleMania (which might give you an idea of what they might do for a finish here). They still haven't figured anything out for Team Hell No (could face each other if they lose the tag titles before Mania), Chris Jericho, Antonio Cesaro, Miz, Wade Barrett, the Divas Title or the Rhodes Scholars, though they're all expected to be on the show. Although Miz and Ric Flair did a partnership/mentor deal this week on Raw, we were told not to read too much into that, and that the thing to really think about is why Dolph Ziggler has not only been losing left and right, but has gotten limited interview time and didn't even get an entrance on Monday. Miz vs. Cesaro is said to be just a TV feud to give them something to do between now and Mania. For whatever its worth, Del Rio vs. Swagger will be continuing after WrestleMania with a submission match being on the books for Extreme Rules.
While I really like the Zeb/Swagger stuff, the two segs were the big losers as far as rating the past Raw
