I'm driving to work this morning and the boys took a break. I decided to go beyond my presets and flipped through the channels. Suddenly I hear Howard Stern in my car and I realize that I'm on Howard 100.

I only have XM, so why am I getting Howard's channel? Does anyone know if this a free promo thing or am I paying for this crap? I listened for about 30 seconds and it sounded just like it did 18 years ago.

Robin's cackling and Fred the Elephant Boy. WTF?

I got an email about some free promotion from siriusxm but I just deleted it. Its probably some week long free promo to get people to sign up for the best of sirius or xm package.

A free week while Howard's on vacation? Brilliant. Typical SiriusXM.

I sorta remember they did the same thing once before.

Somebody from XM called the other night. My wife's new car came with 3 months of free XM, she doesn't listen to satellite radio so she let it lapse. I pick up the phone:

XM Guy - I'm calling about your XM subscription for your new Chevy Avlanche.
Me - Yeah, my wife doesn't listen to satellite radio.
    XM Guy - O.K. (Click)

Wow, XM. You sure do hire some serious hammer salespeople over there. I might of renewed if he pitched me a little more.

Maybe Howard was in your car looking for wig glue.

If anyone wanted to listen to live Howard this summer it would be like a crap shoot. That jew got one hell of a deal.

I checked it out on my ride home tonight and Howard was gone. Maybe I imagined the whole damned thing. Maybe I was having a flashback to the 90's.

I was checking out Stern's channel during the free preview when the Virus went to commercials. Of course it's not live, but it was nice hearing Hank and Kenneth Keith again.

From what I've heard of Howard's show the last few years, vacation time when they play old K-Rock tapes is the best time to get people to subscribe. When he comes back doing live shows no one is going to want to hear that shit.
