So we know its Cena vs Rock

Meltzer said the top 3 matches are set in stone & one is a big one with Taker but he doesn't know details

He said he heard Austin vs Punk won't happen bec Austin & Brock want to do a match when/if Brock leaves MMA - Brock cut a promo on Austin promoting WWE-12
Also they don't need Austin this mania due to The Rock

I wonder what the big Taker match is? Could be HHH again?

I am beginning to think we see Punk vs Daniel Bryan at mania in a classic

Also I heard they were thinking of bringing in NBA guys if the season is wasted

It's certainly starting to look like Taker and Mark Henry. I sure hope so.

Punk and Daniel Bryan would be incredible, but Bryan has the Smackdown briefcase.

I don't see it as Taker vs Henry
Plus reports are this will be a huge match for Taker so maybe we get the career vs Streak match with HHH

There are so many reasons this shouldn't be done that it'll probably happen. If WWE creative had any balls, and Taker had a shred of integrity he'd be doing the job this time.

We already saw Taker/Henry at Mania 22..... it wasn't a classic there and I highly doubt it would be a good match now.

Their last match was a MOTY candidate & Taker taking out but Hunter & HBK has meaning

I know you hate Taker & I am no fan but the streak is bigger than the belt at this time & if the 1% chance of him losing does happen, NO WAY ITS HHH
I don't get where people think its Henry vs Taker at all

No signs lead there & it hasn't been rumored

Also Taker needs a good worker bec he is so beat up he is very limited & that is not Henry

Losing to a younger guy is the only way it makes sense, but they'll never do that.

I had a chance to get a ticket for this. I passed on it. Not because I couldn't afford it, but because I ust don't give a flying fuck.

They have quite a few guys that will put on great matches, but only have 10 minutes to do so. Taker and whomever jobs to him will get at least an hour, and Cena/Rock will get an hour. The good news is you can tune out after the first hour and miss nothing.

I went to Wrestlemania XX, and it was worth the $250 for the ticket. There were a few amazing matches, and that main event may be the best match I've ever seen. These days, I'm not so sure. It's definitely a spectacle that I wouldn't mind being at live, but I wouldn't go for the wrestling anymore.

I've had my Wrestlemania moment. I was at 24 in Orlando in 2008. Nosebleed upper deck seats, but I was there for what might have been one of the best matches, HBK/Flair in what should have been Flair's retirement match. The way WWE is going now, I don't even watch anymore, so why would I pay to go to Florida to pay to watch what will most likely be a barely noteworthy Raw, but called Wrestlemania?

Taker's streak will never be broken, at this point his streak means more than the title matches at Mania and it's not just because the titles are so deluded. I don't see them going with a young guy like Barrett or Cody facing Taker. My guess is that if they don't go with Foley vs. Taker at Mania then I think they will go with HHH vs. Taker again. There is no one else on the roster who is a big enough name at this point that can face Taker and draw interest and make you believe that they might actually break the streak. Foley and Taker are seasoned enough to know how to work around their limitations and I think that Foley would be able to put on one more good match.

I hope they have Punk keep the title until Mania and have him face Jericho. A Jericho vs. Miz feud down the road would also be really good.

I also don't see them putting Danielson in the Main event at Mania. Unless they do a mean push with him, then I don't see it happening.

Agree about Taker, even though I am not a big fan
I don't see Punk vs Jericho at Mania, Orton is fav (as of now) to win RR & face Punk at Mania

Vince really liked Henry vs Bryan & used the match to see how good it could work at Mania & liked it a lot. They are "thinking" about doing a double switch & having him go heel with Henry face in the same match or angle leading to mania or maybe at it

I like the idea of Punk vs. Orton but they would have turn one of the two heel and also they did that last year at Mania. But knowing Punk he could weave some story to make it work.

But you know how Vince is, he likes one thing one moment and that hates it the next. I'm not sure how I would feel about a face Henry, but it means a main event spot for Danielson then I'm fine with that. I just don't know that they will go through with it.

Henry is slowly getting face pops so its in the cards, Vince wanted to do it up HHH & others said too soon
They are also giving Bryan an edge & darker so it might work

The Mark Henry change to a face is right on schedule. Which means he can say goodbye to main event status.

I do like the idea of Daniel Bryan as a heel.

Promos and Taker lying in the middle of the ring to put over the guy who just jobbed to him as a tough guy will easily eat up 30 minutes.
