Love my hockey. I really like the ECHL the best. Great fights and real hockey. The NHL just bores me to tears. I live only 5 mintues away from the Nassau Coliseum.

I will even toss this one out also I also have 61 game worn hockey jerseys also.
Love seeing the Bear's play..go there once a year...New arena is awsome...though watching a game in there old arena a long time ago is something to remember...I think they got out of there just in time before the rink will collapse on its self.

ever see the Everblades play in Estero?

Stop showing off, seriously lol. Well Anaheim was the best team. No one was going to beat them from the East. They deserved it. A great hockey season folks. I think in rememberance we should all be hacky and list our top 3 moments of the year.

3. Brodeur wins 48th
2. Opening Night comeback (Gionta natural hat trick in last 15 minutes)
1. Last NYR-NJD game at the Meadowlands (Parise off Rachunek)

For me:
3. Jagr scoring 39 seconds into the season.
2. Sean Avery tying the game late vs. St. Louis
1. Double overtime, Michal Roszival in Game 3 vs the Sabres.

I would first off like to say that when I saw Chris Pronger lift that Cup, a part of me died. Especially since he touched it before Teemu.

Now for some sweet top 3 moments, from a Detroit perspective for those who care:

3. Franzen's 2OT winner against Calgary.
2. Kyle Calder scoring on his 1st shift as a Red Wing
1. Steve Yzerman number retirement ceremony (I was there)

How about a little wackbag trip to a Wolfpack-Sound Tiger game?
Hell yeah, I'm up for that!

And congrats to the Ducks, although I don't think there are many Ducks fans on Wackbag.

With a weak draft, this is gonna be a looooooooooooong offseason. :)

Wanna buy an authentic Bure home jersey.... door?

Seriously, I've been trying to sell it on eBay, but the most I'm getting is like 20 bucks. lol :)

As great as Scotty Niedermayer has been with the devils in the past, I just noticed this season was a career high for him in terms of points and he shows no signs of slowing down... I could see this guy playing up into his mid 40's and still being great.

Isles' prospect Okposo staying in college
New York Islanders

UNIONDALE, N.Y. (CP) - New York Islanders first round draft pick Kyle Okposo announced Friday that he has decided to remain at the University of Minnesota for the 2007-08 hockey season.

The 19-year-old forward from St. Paul, Minn., was selected seventh overall in last year's draft.

"I feel returning to school best serves my future as an NHL player at this time," said Okposo. "I want to be able to step right in and help the Islanders in the future. I didn't feel that I can do that right now.

"Minnesota is the best place for me to be so I can continue my development."

Okposo played for the U.S. team that won bronze at the world junior championship in Sweden.

He also finished second on the team in scoring during his freshman year at Minnesota with 19 goals and 21 assists for 40 points.

The Islanders are supportive of his decision to stay in college.

"Kyle has a very bright future and another year at the collegiate level will give him the opportunity to continue his development into the player we all imagine he can be one day," said Islanders GM Garth Snow. "We're looking forward to watching Kyle be a leader at Minnesota this season."
