Oh and congrats to the Chicago Bulls and their fans for the first round sweep of the Sixers.

Calling it kind of early aren't you? I mean the Sixers should at least win their first game at home.
Sixers shouldn't have even made the playoffs. They just get in only to get bounced in the first round. Its a waste. They need big changes on this team. Should have tanked it worse down the stretch and got a lottery pick. Even if the Bulls don't sweep them the series is over. No way the Bulls lose in the first round to the Sixers. Even without Rose.

They have no legitimate big man in the middle. Brand is too old/slow, Iggy just doesn't work on this team and the young guys just aren't developed enough. Holiday has taken a huge step back this year. Turner has made tremendous strides but he's only one guy. Thad Young regressed down the stretch too.

That is still no excuse for 100-67.
As a Knicks fan, I couldn't deny that they're outmatched and will likely lose the series. However, for a 7 seed they are incredibly talented, well coached, and much deeper than Miami. For them to win games, they'll need breaks to go their way, and having refs get whistle happy in favor of the heat in Miami will lead to the Knicks losing 100 out of 100 games. The Heat couldn't beat the Bobcats this badly, let alone the Knicks in the playoffs, so obviously there were some other factors in such a blowout.

No, but when that run that turned it from 1 point to 11 was going on, so where the calls.
I'm not saying there weren't any bad calls. But it was clear from the beginning of that game that the Heat came more prepared to to play than the Knicks did.

Trust me, I would love for nothing more than the Heat to lose in the first round. So it pains me to have be somewhat defending them.

Breaking news: Derrick Rose has a torn ACL.

Wow. Rose being out is huge. Doesn't matter in the round 1 series as they will still win that but it certainly hampers their championship chances.

Rose being out for the playoffs means that Celtics have a very good chance to make it to the NBA finals.

I think it helps but I really think its gonna be hard to keep the Heat out of the finals.

Most underrated team of the playoffs is the Pacers. Been talking about the Pacers for months. I think the Pacers/Heat is going to be one of the toughest most fun series to watch. I just can't believe they are losing to Orlando right now. They're young and tough, just gotta get with it!!!

I just scored this shirt... Brand new off the presses... Perfect time for the playoffs!!!

Michael Wilbon (Espn PTI, Chicago native) had this little Twitter exchange

"... Talk me off the ledge Mike, why am I a Chicago sports fan? Heart goes out to Rose"

Wilbon: Days like today make us wonder, don't they?

Yeah... Poor Bulls fans. It's been so long since you won 6 fucking NBA titles, all the way back to 1998; black and white tvs, $0.10 movies, so long ago!
Must really suck to be a Bulls fan

They keep saying Rose is "done for the season", but isn't he essentially done for most of 2013 as well?

I do love how Lebron is balding in the front, and is holding on to those little hairs, covering it up with that stupid headband. It's too bad you can't wear it in post game interviews

I think the Celtics are going to be a very tough out for Miami. 94 of the 99 points last night for the Thunder came from KD,RW,JH and Iblockya. They are going to need to come up with more offense from their bench to be able to face the Spurs.

lol @ knicks. they had some bad luck but they deserve this. It's like an annual thing now. Last year it was Carmelo, this year Lin. They always get so hyped and fail miserably.

Fuck yeah! What an ending. Might have been the most difficult game winning shot made in the NBA this season.

The Bulls are fucked. Nobody in the east is gonna touch the Heat now. If Lebron doesn't roll over in the finals they'll win it all.

Hoping to seek OKC come out of the west but I would not put money against the Spurs.

NBA playoff basketball rules. Best season in about a decade.
