Well, apparently they are calling for us to get 4-6 inches today in my area. Guess I need to go prepare the snowblower. WTF?!? It's not even November.

Well tuned up both snow blowers (adjusted belts/adjusted shoes/scrapers etc...) and put the driveway markers in... hopefully the river acts like a force field and directs it out to sea... meh.

Edit just saw this:

Hopefully we get the rain portion.

Yeah, just peeked out the window, its laying on the cars now.

Think I'll go to Home Depot and watch the hilarity as everyone buys snow blowers and shovels.

Just remembered I have to get one of those extendo snow brushes for the truck... cuz I broke the other one last year... a boo.

For some strange reason I feel the need to go out to buy 10 gallons of milk & 6 loaves of bread.

My power went out for 5 minutes.

Are you fucking kidding me? One inch of snow and we lose power? This looks to be a long winter.

It's coming down hard by me. Directv is in & out. Hopefully this storm doesn't park itself for a month. This winter is going to suck.

Heavy wind and snow falling almost horizontally here in Queens. Thankfully I rent and don't drive so I just kick my feet up, look out the window and watch others struggle to clean up.

My lights flickered and I heard a transformer pop a couple blocks over and there was no accumulation whatsoever.

I really want to head into NYC to see all the sluts barhopping in winterboots and parkas bitching about their hair and the awful weather.

Well, I'm glad I have a backup snowblower. My main machine started, and I got it halfway back to my shed so I could take the mower deck off and put the snowblower on. It fucking died in the middle of my backyard. I fucked with it for about 10 minutes and gave up.

I got a regular snowblower in my shed that I had meant to give to my brother. I put gas in the tank, opened the petcock, primed it, and fired it up. I am ready to go.

Rain here south of Philly.

Started with rain, turned to freezing rain, then to snow
and now it's back to rain. No accumulation on the ground.

Did see a wreck during the freezing rain portion though.
Fucking idiots never slow down for bad weather.

Everything is nice and white outside (LIKE THIS COUNTRY SHOULD BE!), I love the snow.

I got my coffee and a warm bowl of oatmeal and I'm just watching it come down. I bet sleeves can make a song out of that.

So far the accumulation hasnt been an issue, its the fact that the trees still have most of their leaves. Branches are dropping like $2 whores and ripping wires out all over the place.

Apparently tonight across NY, CT and MA there is going to be 40-50mph winds.

hopefully the snow doesn't freeze onto the leaves. If the snow is able to be blown off, it should be OK. Otherwise, everyone is going to be fucked. Hopefully you have warm blankies for tonight.

I just heard a few branches break in the forest. Snow doesnt look that heavy but I guess if the trees dead wont take much.

It is very heavy and wet snow here in western jersey. I see a few trees come down already. I have the plow on my truck pushed 4 inches snow off a strip mall parking lot all ready. I'm betting the power will be out soon.
