$1,500 for the rifle, $26,000 for the enchantment spell.
I can do that with an $1800 setup.
Prove it in 3 shots or less
I'm only worried about people less than a block away from me.
I can bag em for a hell of a lot less.
What scope and rifle are you using?
I'd rather spend $3k on gun, suppressor, and glass... and spend the rest on training and ammo.
Even at 1000 I usually hit the plates on the second shot. I know there is a 1moa variation based on temp, and wind causes a 10" shift per mph. I'd like some better training so the first shot is a winner instead.
@chiapeteater Rem 700p, Leupold Mark 4 6.5-20, and AWC suppressor.
What a coincidence! That just happens to be the point of the Second Amendment.
So, remember when I posted this...?
I was consistently hitting IPSC steel targets (torso sized) at 840 yards yesterday with a borrowed .308 Remington 700.
Who the fuck needs a $27,000 rifle to hit at those distances?
I went to Camp Perry once and had a goal of making one X at 1000 yds, never shot a match at that distance. I made many Xs with a 1952 Mod 70 Target in 30-06 with a Unertl in the old sliding mounts where you have to pull the scope back after each shot, and a stock M21 with irons. Both were borrowed and didn't cost me a thing.
Spell Level Times Caster Level Times 1800 X4 for Continuous Charges=True Strike for 6400. Though any DM who allows that is clearly a silly goose.
The only human target to date made the mistake of wearing the Lead Magnet Cloak of Dread.
I think black people would need it for anything greater than 15 yards.
I imagine quite a few people.
With enough practice, you can also kill a deer with a bow and arrow. But why not just use something that makes it easy? The purpose of this gun is to make shooting things far away easy.
