From VARTV, a broadcasting industry website in VA...

On Monday, the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in New York threw out a Federal Communications Commission ruling that said broadcast TV stations could be fined for broadcasting "fleeting expletives."

The case involved the Fox network and expletives uttered on two different live broadcasts of the Billboard Music Awards. But it affects all broadcast networks and stations.

A small victory...But maybe some people are feeling the backlash

Um, the liberals have just as much to do with censorship (think political correctness, which is destroying the USA).

Uh, I hate to break this to you but the Religious Right has had very little to say about the O&A mess. Ever heard the term "political correctness"? That's purely a liberal thing and it is having a much bigger impact than the Religious Right ever will. Most Republicans, myself included, believe in smaller government. It takes a pretty BIG government to enforce FCC rules and lame PC laws.
