Our long national nightmare is over. Well, okay, Work It only aired twice, but we had to deal with the horrific knowledge of its existence since last May, when ABC baffled us all by picking up the series. But now, the network has announced they are pulling the series, effective immediately.

In its place, for the remainder of the month at least, ABC will air repeats of Last Man Standing, the show already airing right before Work It on Tuesdays. That's obviously a temporary solution though, and the big question is whether this hole in ABC's schedule will allow Cougar Town to finally return to the air, as that series still has a vague "Midseason" return.

I put that show in the same level as that caveman show that was based on the Geico cavemen. A total televised abortion comes to mind.

Two episodes longer than it should have aired. TV execs are borderline, nay, are retarded.

And I've seen both episodes of Work It. It's a remarkably cheap show. And I'm not just talking about the dialogue.

I watched the second episode while I was fixing my computer the other night, and while I wouldn't say it's a good show, it's far from being the worst thing I've seen on primetime network TV.

Has Rob been canceled, too?
Rob is going to be on for a while.

Idiots who love Big Bang Theory will keep watching.

Surprisingly CBS got pounded from reporters this week about how racially insensitive Two Broke Girls is. Maybe it winds up getting both that show and Rob cancelled if we're lucky.

She was only his girlfriend for like 4 episodes. She is the neighbor.

It is better than any show besides community that airs in primetime (including parks & rec, which is shit)

Set up, set up, joke (repeat). That's every episode of BBT.

It's another lousy sitcom left over from the 1980's that for some reason CBS does amazing with.

BBT isn't in the same league as NBC's Thursday night lineup, or even ABC's Wednesday night lineup. But there's a lot of dumb people in America who watch it that lack any sort of taste or the knowledge of what's actually funny unless a laugh track tells them, we all know that.

If the big bang theory is better then community, then it must be the worst show that has ever existed.

I've never seen community but I tried to sit through 10 minutes of big bang theory the other day when someone told me it wins an emmy or something every year. I wanted/want to kill whoever votes for the emmy awards.

30 Rock, Parks & Rec, and The Office???

30 rock is funny, but P&R I watched the first 3 episodes and it was horrible.

The office had a few good seasons when it stopped copying the british version but it went downhill after the jim/pam wedding.

And the Wednesday night abc lineup if full of the same type of "family" sitcoms that aren't any funnier than everybody loves raymond or king of queens.

Been there, done that.

BBT is just as good or better than any of those shows. neither of you have even bothered to watch it and I wouldn't be surprised if your opinion is based on O&A bashing it one day (wouldn't know, don't listen anymore)

Community is very different and good for a network show.

Opie watches nothing but reality TV, Jimmy watches only the wire and Ant lies about what he likes to try and not make any hostility with guests.

I make my own opinions, I tried to watch an episode and couldn't take it, it was beyond belief how bad it was.

I've watched BBT and I like it. But if the right marathon comes on, I'll get into pretty much any sitcom so my opinion is probably tainted.

The first season of P+R was lousy, but starting in its second season it became incredible. In the same way that The Office lost the ability to actually about characters, Parks and Recreation picked up the slack and I honestly believe does it better than even The US Office did in its prime. I know this might sound like blasphemy, but I put P+R closer in tone to The Larry Sanders Show than The Office.

I still really like 30 Rock, and liked the ending montage from this week to Camptown Races. And Community is amazing.

The Office is terrible. Just terrible. I legitimately hate Ed Helms now. I can't think of any other show that turned me against an actor as much as The Office this season put me anti-Ed Helms.

But The Office v. Big Bang Theory. Ooosh. I've only seen one and a half episodes of Big Bang Theory. The full episode involved them going to the arctic to do some experiment or some bullshit and the half episode involved the nerdy guy working at a restaurant. I don't know which one is worse because I think think I've seen enough Big Bang Theory to make an actual assessment. Though I have debated marathoning it when TBS does one of its three hour blocks one night just to see if I can get a better impression.

And the Wednesday night abc lineup if full of the same type of "family" sitcoms that aren't any funnier than everybody loves raymond or king of queens.
With the exception of The Middle, all the other shows seem to put a more adult spin on "family" sitcom. And even The Middle appears to have a more Malcolm in the Middle quality, from the ads. I haven't watched them (When you don't watch ABC, you forget about its existence. Except for something like Work It.) but the commercials for Suburgatory and Modern Family at least make those shows appear to be more intelligent. And I don't think Happy Ending has any family, except for the friend-family.

This is just getting stupid, no one except for retarded kids find BBT funnier then Modern Family.

And you're bringing up Raymond? That's like the CBS prototype for BBT.

Jesus, I'd take Suburgatory over BBT and every other CBS sitcom with the exception of How I Met Your Mother.

I am not trying to say that BBT is some brilliant show that nobody can miss, I am just saying that it isn't any worse than the shows that others are saying are amazing while calling it crap.

If you are saying P&R gets better I may go back and give it a try, but usually if I don't like a show in the first season I don't bother with it any more.

I also don't think Seinfeld was as good as people say it was. It was funny but I don't think it was groundbreaking in any way.

If it doesn't do anything for you, cool, enjoy whatever shows you do, but don't act like you alone are the arbiter of what is funny and what isn't.

I think thats legally defined as torture.

Shame about Ed Helms, he used to be so funny on the daily show and now we hate him for what the office has made him into.

Stop with your shenanigans. I've seen every episode of 2 Broke Girls. It's pretty damn funny and I don't remember any racial insensitivity, not that there's anything wrong with that.
