FORREST GUMP is evil right wing propaganda. The fact that it convinced the world it was a feel-good movie blows my mind to this day. It openly hated everything the 60's stood for, yet it still moved millions of units of the soundtrack to clueless baby boomers.

I absolutely hated ALMOST FAMOUS. People lost their fucking minds over that movie but I thought Kate Hudson was ridiculously over-rated (time has proven me right on that one) and the whole movie was such an idealised, rose-tinted look at the squalor and filth of 70's rock and roll that it make me fucking sick.

No Country for Old Men - I found it to be ridiculously boring.

Forest Gump - I just hated it. I didn't find it funny or entertaining.

The first ten minutes of JUNO are fucking intolerable. But after that it's actually a pretty good movie.

And Jennifer Garner gives the best performance in that movie, not pint-sized dyke Ellen Page.

Me either. I tried.
I watched it twice...didn't get it.

Adding another one.....
Mainly because it was basically Ferngully with an expansive budget and live actors:
Avatar...yeah, I said it... Avatar blows.

Wasn't crazy about that one either. Too much predictable moralizing.

I don't think Lebowski sucked ass but I barely chuckled through the whole thing. I liked Goodman though.

It's an okay movie. I've never understood the hipster hero worship of it.

It's very far down my list of favourite Coen Bros movies.
I'll fucking... I'll fucking kill you tonight.

His movies are too abstract for their own good. Lost Highway would be a brilliant movie if there was enough of a revelation to all of it.

MILLER'S CROSSING, FARGO, BLOOD SIMPLE, NO COUNTRY FOR OLD MEN, RAISING ARIZONA, OH BROTHER WHERE ART THOU, BARTON FINK, TRUE GRIT...

All movies I would put before THE BIG LEBOWSKI.

That movie is like the CITIZEN KANE of pothead favourites.
