How does someone who is a blatant liar have so many fucking followers? This guy is fucking clown shoes, he can't even answer a fucking question. Then he plugs his childish website? Holy motherfucker...most annoying person of 2012 came early this year.

Even after all the backpedaling on the show these retarded sheep will still listen to Alex. "What I meant was.." Sure you did.

They want so badly to believe the things he says are true that they are willing to ignore almost anything.

His show "works" for a bunch of different reasons...

-The guests he has on his show are all swinging from his nuts or they're all "on the same page" with him. He almost never has anybody on his show that disagree with anything he says, and on the rare occasion that he does have a sorta non-looney guest on, he keeps the discussion narrowly safe, and he's careful not to get his full kook on. His callers are also thoroughly screened with a fine tooth comb and only fawning fanbois get through... and even then Alex yaps and yaps and barely allows them to get a word in edgewise.

-He throws out facts that are verifiable, but then he ties them together in implausible and ridiculous connections that make no logical sense. But his listeners have no logical sense, so they just accept it all... they just buy the whole tangled mess and defend it with, "Everything Alex says is backed up by verifiable fact!"

He tried this very tactic on Chris Kyle today on O&A... he threw out "the fact" that Chris had been awarded some sort of Jewish defense medal. Then he out "the fact" that Chris has a company that does contracted defense training for government agencies. And then her threw out "the fact" that Richard Perle contracts such agencies.
Yes... it's all "verifiable facts"... but the wackiness comes when he tries to bundle them all together into some grand interwoven cabal of evil. It's fucking ridiculous, and when they called it out on the show today it all just collapsed like a house of cards so fast it was comical. Alex didn't even try to keep going with it... he just dropped it and ran off in another wacky direction.

You see... stuff like that never happens on his show. Nobody ever calls him out. It's just one big circle jerk, and the Kirktards who listen to his show just assume that it's all iron clad "verifiable facts".

-The Kirktards aren't intelligent and/or informed enough to realize that much of what Alex spouts is just plain bullshit. If Alex Jones tells them that NASA is spreading the pharmaceutical mood control drug lithium into the ionosphere in order to control the mode of the sheeples... the Kirktards are too ignorant to realize that there's a huge difference between pharmaceutical lithium salts, and the basic chemical element lithium, so the just buy the chemtrails bullshit hook, line, and sinker.

-The Kirktards WANT TO BELIEVE.

That's the most important one right there... and it's self-explanatory.

How awesome would it be if someone had a video of Ventura saying that shit, not out of the question today with cell phones being everywhere but being a wake it probably did not happen.

AJ really lost face today, all but admitted that he would go off on a subject based on what others say someone said rather than actually research it enough to find out what they actually said. He didn't have time to listen to the interview but had time to talk about it at length on his show... douche.

Alex Jones does a lot of broadcasting tricks to get people listening. Some of them are the same tricks that O&A use. The main trick he uses is to make the audience believe that they're part of the show. They think they are on to some secret that makes them smarter and more informed than the general public. O&A (and most other good hosts in the same format) do the same thing with comedy. Their fans think that they know the greatest and most edgy comics, and what everyone else listens to is crap.

Say what you will about the crazy shit Alex Jones says, the guy is a good broadcaster.

Tell you the truth... I think Chris may just be fibbing... or maybe bending the truth just a tad(Pahaps more flub fleeblah).

I actually hope that he is lying... because it's a fantastic gimmick that is getting O&A some heat and it will help Chris sell books and the situation is tearing the ass out of Jesse Ventura. Alex made that perfectly clear... it's got Jesse rambling about 'body doubles" and psyops like a loopy old Alzheimer's coot. Fucking priceless.

If it weren't for Alex Jones getting some attention, this gimmick would be a total win all around.

I agree. The man is a carny's carny. He found his little niche, and he's milking for all it's worth.

But... I'm also nearly positive that Alex has nothing but disdain, if not outright loathing, for his audience. I'm sure he despises rubbing elbows with them in public and he probably avoids them like lepers when he's not out in public yelling into a bullhorn and whipping them up into a retarded froth at one of his attention whoring rallies.

I think he feeds the kooks whatever it takes to keep them tuning in, and drooling on his nuts, but then at the end of the day he goes home and takes a long, hot shower to wash off their greasy stink.

Alex is probably like Agent Smith. What he really wants to tell his Kirktarded fans...

It's the smell, if there is such a thing. I feel saturated by it. I can taste your stink, And every time I do, I fear that I've somehow been infected by it; it's repulsive, isn't it? I must get out of here. I must get free.

I think that's pretty much dead on.
The guy has a business model that works for him and pulls a paycheck. That's why I don't completely despise him despite having little tolerance for his content or his delivery.

After actually listening to some of Alex's radio show, I think it's pretty easy to understand why he maintains a following: he slips in the really wacky shit in between mostly-sane takes on whatever's happening in the news. And as far as pundits go I find him far more tolerable than any of the cable news jerkoffs who are all beholden to one political party or another.

Joe Rogan once said he could get on board with about 70% of what Alex says. I'd probably go down to 60%, but I still find the dude's show compelling for some reason.

I like the dope on twitter that said a SEAL would never talk about things that happen within the community in public but it was a SEAL that made this story public. And the guys were too fervent in their dislike for Ventura to notice how dumb that statement was. They will say no SEAL's will back up Chris's story because they don't talk outside of the circle but Chris is above that supposed code for some reason.

Kirk chimes in and it has nothing to do with our conversation.

Although I didn't listen to the show today.

Why are you assuming that the caller/twitter guy was a SEAL?

I never assumed that.
Yet when you posted this:

but it was a SEAL that made this story public.
you assumed that it was a SEAL that was making the story public. Sure, Kyle put the story in his book but the caller/twitter guy was the one that outed the details of what happened. Sounds like a solid assumption to me.

I never even mentioned the caller from the day of the original interview. Chris confirmed that it was Jesse, if he had denied it the story never would have gone public so yes a SEAL named Chris Kyle put the story out there

Alex was good and its funny how people are saying he was owned when he wasn't. The only thing they really got him on was the story about the woman with the weapon in Iraq. I like how Anthony thinks dropped guns are a myth and it has never happened.

The caller was the one who brought up the details of the incident, its not like Kyle was forthcoming with the info. Jones was owned because by the end of the conversation he was kissing as much ass as possible to get a plug in for your stupid homepage. You misspoke and you were wrong, stop being a bitch and at least admit you were wrong.
