I'm such a tool for still watching this. I read that they're changing the format around a little bit on top of there being a new set, if anyone cared about that shit. They're going to try to tug at the heartstrings a little more by focusing on the contestants family, friends, background, etc. Oh and also they're apparently allowed to bring instruments into their auditions this season, which could become frightening.
I only care about the first few episodes with the train wrecks. Unfortunately I get stuck watching the whole damn season cuz the gf gets into it. :arrrh: I can usually deal with it until all the hot chicks get voted off. Figures it starts the same night the Barrett-Jackson auto auction starts too.
Her? All I want to know is if there is someone who can come close to the McPhee hotness. Haley Scarnato was easily the hottest last year (hotter than that overrated Antonella Barbara) but nowhere near McPhee. McPhee is one of those chicks that looks hot frumpy and I like that.
It's going to be just as horrible as every season that has preceded it. The ratings, however, will go through the roof as usual since it is literally the highest rated show on television today. I used to work at that hell hole Fox and part of my job was to analyze that piece of shit's ratings and estimate its future performance. Biggest crock of shit ever.
You might want to consider watching further. In the past couple years, the talent pool has gotten considerably thinner. They're now taking people that they've rejected in the past because of this. Also, they're taking more and more 16 year olds who really aren't ready for this big of a stage. Inevitably this leads to some train wrecks lasting far longer than they would have in the first couple of seasons. Shit, a train wreck WON season 5...
