So this is the new tactic. Scared is not the word for these people and it has nothing to do with rvw. Peterson is wrong, he just does not know why. The Dems have to be voted out to stop this poison. 1 month of constant attacks, smears, lies have not worked and will not work.

The problem is you can not take what appears to be a squeaky clean reputation and destroy it in one month. Hopefully reasonable people see this.

The Dems throwing pointless temper tantrums after their shit has been pushed hard.

Bold strategy, Cotton.

I saw Peterson a few nights ago. He explained what he meant by this.
It reads like "If he's confirmed for the SC he should step down", which makes no sense. I assume he meant "If it's confirmed that Kavanaugh assaulted all these women he should step down", and I don't think you'd find very many people that would disagree with that.

Oops, just read the link. And Peterson is officially an idiot.

The best thing for Kavanaugh to do from the point Peterson made that post until the day he dies or retires from the Supreme Court is to do his job, and do it well. Let his record in the cases that come before him speak for his suitability as a judge. Because at the end of the day, that's what the confirmation process is supposed to be about - is he a suitable candidate for this position? The correct position for someone that is supposed to be a thought leader in this world is this: Goofing around in high school, even if he did stick his dick in some girl's face or get involved in some horesplay that went a little too far has nothing to do with his suitability as a judge.

Yeah, it wasn't his best work.

I like Bret but his solution of being unbiased is idealistic to say the least. I can give you the exact amount of people in this county who are capable of being unbiased. Zero.
They're supposed to be biased toward the constitution. That's why they serve for life. They're supposed to be separate from the business of politics.

Of course, while RBG exists unimpeached, accusations of political bias are completely absurd. The left only cares about bias when it's not in their favor.
