Michael Vick makes his living in a violent sport where players routinely break each others bones, rupture spleens and inflict concussions. The fans love watching it. Why do hypocrites act so shocked that football players would also be fascinated by watching intense violence?

Dog fighting, cock fighting and bull fighting are sports where animals get killed. All three are cultural traditions established in societies all over the world for hundreds of years. Rotties and Pit Bulls did not suddenly become fighting dogs. It took centuries of breeding. Society has gotta stop using Vick to represent the archetypal psycho monster engaging in unheard of atrocities. Dog fighting is widespread in rural areas throughout the United States. Every young man is intrigued by videos of lion vs tiger, bear vs rhino or snake vs mongoose. By the time most American males grow up they have been so feminized out of natural male instincts, they react like emotional cunts to things they loved before their pussification. Thankfully, that shit is changing. UFC is glorified dog fighting and it is the fastest growing sport in America. The 18-34 male sports fan is starting to answer the call of his inner caveman and openly admits to loving blood sports...the more brutal the more gooder.

If Vick is convicted of animal cruelty...OK, fine. Then, the government also needs to stop giving hunting licenses to thousands of fat beer guzzling slobs who go into the woods and blast the sh!t out of Bambi. And build memorials for 400 billion dead chickens who consider Colonel Sanders the Adolf Hitler of the poultry world.

I get it you are "going against the grain guy". The UFC part might be the worst analogy ever written. Guess what Chuck Liddell wasn't electrocuted or hung after his last loss.

Way to compare apples and oranges. And pears. And bananas. And grapes. And cumquats.

Nice Redding, 100% correct. Animals are being forced to fight, people aren't.

Everyone in this room is now dumber for having to read that. Forcing dogs to fight compared to choice-making humans....

Max Kellerman on ESPN radio made the point that less than 100 dogs were killed in the Vick dogfights whereas millions of pigs (supposedly smarter and more sensitive animals than dogs) are raised in inhumane conditions and force fed til their legs break under the weight of their bodies (his claim - not mine) and nobody has a problem eating pork. Well not nobody but you know what I mean.

call it a double standard if youd like, but its slightly different when you are using animals for consumption, than it is, having animals kill eachother for gambling, and competition/ego purposes. its another apples and oranges comparison.

and 100 dead dogs, for one house is a pretty large number. max kellerman should stick to boxing and shut his face about everything else

Fighting may look like a blood sport to you. cause your a fuckin pussy. fighting is a physical chess match. you impose your will on someone and take what your opponent gives you. It involves strategy hard work and dedication. It's not like fedor is beating up on travis. Let me guess were you in the band and the football players used to give you wedgies and kick your ass. faggot

I guess you don't have a problem with the R A P E stand those savage naggers made.

Organizers first raided Michael Vick's home on April 25 and seized 66 dogs, mostly pit bulls, some with scars and injuries. They also seized equipment commonly used in dogfighting - including treadmills used for conditioning dogs, a stick to pry fighting dogs apart, and a "**** stand," a device used to hold down aggressive females for breeding.
