Took me 2 hours and 12 minutes to get from work to the Lincoln Tunnel..3.8 miles. What the fuck was the problem last night? Anyone know?

It is with great, great pleasure and enjoyment, that I answer this question.

No. I did not get stuck in NYC traffic last night. Or any other night in the last 2 years.

    All praise be unto Odin.

No...it usually only takes about 20-30 mins on a good day. Bad day is like an hour

Try mass transit. Not kidding. Driving is silly unless you have no choice.

Nope... but there were two cars in front of me making a left turn onto Route 1... must of delayed me 10 seconds or so... oh the humanity.

When I used to work in an office... my typical commute took 30 minutes... a couple of times (once due to a blizzard and once due to a policeman getting shot right before my exit) it took 5 hours.

I drove a total of 34 miles last night when I went out to dinner. The drive took around 40 minutes round trip. One of the reasons why I'll probably never live in a major city.

City traffic is beyond retarded. Even prime time suburban traffic sucks dead dog dick.

Far too many stupid people are allowed to drive. None of which have any clue how to make a left on a single lane road (they love to swing wide from the right like they're drive a big rig.)

I forgot that I saw it in the paper this morning until Ron mentioned it. There was a huge Jewish thing going on in Giants Stadium. Every Jew in Manhattan was trying to get into the tunnel yesterday.

It takes the same amount of time for my chick to drive from Swampscott to her office (16 miles) as it does for her to drive in from Maine (62 miles)... only real shenanigans she gets is when she gets to 95/128... which has some interesting on and off ramps.

Cute thing on some of the highways around Bawferston is that you are allowed to drive on the shoulders during rush hour....
