I like C&H

I still have some of the books somewhere at my parents' house. Used to read them all the time.

A certain mayonnaise-eating producer of a nationally syndicated radio show has a fondness for Calvin and Hobbes.

Who could it be?

I have all those books around somewhere, I loved C+H growing up.
Nice find.

Nice find. I'm a card carrying member of G.R.O.S.S., and I'm working on building my own transmogrifier too.

C&H and Bloom County were two of the best comic strips back in the day. Berkeley Breathed's spinoff, Opus, is good but seems to be lacking something that was present in the original

C+H was a great part of my late teens and early twenties. Whenever I was down in the dumps they would cheer me up. I remember how sad I was when BW stopped. I actually had the last comic taped on the wall in my bedroom.

In the last cell they were on a sled after a snow fall in the forest and Calvin's last line was "Lets go exploring".......

Its a shame that most people today identify him as the kid pissing on a ford or chevy logo.....

OMG .. .I miss Farside most of all. I don't know why but the one of the potato salad holding up the rest of the condiments in the refrigerator with the caption 'when potato salad goes bad' really cracks me up. Midvale School for the Gifted is one I kept on my desk for ages, too.

And let's not forget the cat trying to get the dog in the dryer by writing 'fud' on the door. (or was it the dog trying to get the cat into the dryer?)

Calvin & Hobbes was great, as were Bloom County and Pogo. I used to like the Non-Sequitur, but it sucks now for some reason.

Now I read Red Meat.
