Anybody listen to this show? I think it's the one he did with DiPaolo, until Nick left.

I'm just trying to get a feel for the show, before I start investing time into listening to a lot of it.

I listened to The Nick & Artie Show despite not being a sports fan. It was pretty good, but I could tell that without Nick it'd just be Artie telling the same jokes and stories over and over.

I can't wait until DiPaolo reveals what happened.

I'm mostly asking because an old high school acquaintance is on the show now, and I don't know how big a part. Jon Ritchie is a good dude, and I want him to do well.

Artie's bringing his podcast back after DirecTV cancelled it back in April, it's supposed to start on January 5th, he's going with the Anthony Cumia business model of $6.95 a month.

You can sign up here: http://www.artiequitter.com/

Is anyone from hear going to sign up?

Also, if I were to sign up, it would be for 2 months max. Let's be honest, Artie is not long for this world.

Seems pricey for audio. And enough with the fucking microphone already.

Someone posted this screenshot of the transaction page for Artie's on the Howard stern reddit page and it shows his subscribers so far are in the high 900s, I really hope either the number grows or the counter is wrong because I think Artie is really funny, I just cant subscribe because of technical reasons, but not even a thousand subscribers is fucking dismal.

Why pay 7 bucks a month to have a coked-up degenerate gambler jabroni blather at you, when you can walk into any casino in Atlantic City and get the same for free?

If I'm going to a casino, I'm making sure that casino is in Delaware.

It won't even be live? It'll be some overproduced garbage, I'm thinking. No thanks.

It's not live nor is there video, I think the person who setup this for Artie did a pretty poor job as far as the technology goes, check out the FAQ about how to get the podcast into Itunes, there's no RSS feed to use on your phone, and you gotta convert the files to a podcast yourself.

2 – How do I load the Artie Podcasts to iTunes?

NOTE: The first episode is 1/5 – there is no way to listen before the first episode is released. Once that’s done, you’ll be able to listen on iTunes or any other podcatcher you’d like.

Once subscribed, you can listen to the podcasts on any device. To load to iTunes to listen on your iPhone/iPad/iPod, follow these steps:

I – Open iTunes on your computer. From the top menu bar, select File and then Add folder to library.

II – Select the folder containing the Artie Podcasts you want to add to iTunes.

III – The files will appear under “Music” in your iTunes Library in the left column of iTunes.
