I don't watch many movies... because I'm lazy. But I need to catch up on some flicks.

Top 3 I want to watch right now...

Drive
Fast 5
Super 8

What about you guys?

Best Comedy: Super
Best Drama: Melancholia

Indy Realm (and the vast majority of my top 10): Drive, Tree of Life, Shame, Hugo, Take Shelter, A Dangerous Method, The Skin I Live In

More Popular: Midnight in Paris, Rango, X-Men First Class, Hanna (really good, flatout action movie), Source Code.

I saw Fast 5. It was a surprisingly well done heist movie.

Worst movies of the year: Sucker Punch, Transformers 3, Sherlock Holmes 2 (something about it just didn't sit right with me, and is less sitting not righter as time goes by), Bucky Larsen

I kinda watched it last night but I was doing shit on the computer and my phone during the whole movie, so it didn't have my full attention.

I thought it was pretty good for what it was about, nothing phenomenal. I also went into it knowing absolutely nothing about the plot.

I gotta agree with Kill The Irishman, but I'm always a sucker for anything mob related.
Captain America was far better than Thor
I enjoyed *the concept* of I Am Number 4. But it's a standard movie
Hanna was a great action flick
I enjoyed The Source Code, especially the premise, but I knew what was coming a mile away.
X-Men First Class turned out much better than I thought it would.
Same with Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
Contagion was all too realistic.
The Thing was a good movie even though it did a lot of the same things as the 80's version.

Worst of what I watched was definitely Sucker Punch though Cowboys and Aliens was really close.

Only one I've seen so far is X-men. I got kicked out of Sucker Punch. I was causing a scene. :(

I'm going to forgo the obvious joke about masturbating in the theater to Emily Browning and the other chicks.

So did you get kicked out for saying how the bad film was or were you making jokes about the movie ala Mystery Science Theater 3000?

13 Assassins. By far. The only movie I saw that contained something significantly innovative. Takashi Miike at his best.

Other movies I enjoyed were, in no particular order, Hanna, The Eagle, Page Eight, The Guard, Bunraku and Melancholia.
It's from 2010.

I enjoyed The Descendants. Haven't seen a lot though.

Muppets was great.

I also enjoyed Contagion, but could've used some more content. Soderbergh's movies live or die on content, and this could've used some more. If he had dug a little deeper into the issue, instead of spending half the movie fucking around with some retard blogger, I think this could've been up there with Traffic, as one of his best.

I also want to say that Friends with Benefits is one of the worst movies of the year. Even worse than What's Your Number.

Watched fast 5 this weekend. Fucking awesome. I loved it... The first one will always have a special place in my heart. This one was great though. The cars.... OMG, the cars... It was better than porn for me.

I agree, for the same reason I almost didn't open this thread because my dad and granddad are sitting behind me. We get it, she's attractive.
