great afi ep and the following album was also excellent.
You seriously just beat me to it. I was going to post about it because I found out they have a new album coming out this September, not like I have any hope of it being as good as their old shit.

Cant be any worse than their last two albums. Davey should just have stuck with the Blaq Audio thing, they could have probably gotten some better gigs with that. Seems he is going the Judas Priest route though, not a good look in 2013.

Aww thats adorable.

There have been good tracks, no doubt, but the whole feel of the band has changed so completely its astounding. Im not going to hold it against them but god damn are they different today than they were back when I saw them for the first time. I wont motherfuck the band for the way they sound today but I wont love them as much as I did back in the day.

I try to listen to everything as a stand alone album/song. Otherwise you'll never be able to appreciate anything but the stuff that sucked you in the first time.

I was hoping it was a live action version of Pirates of Dark Water. Not Jean Laffite.

Anyone watching this show? I'm really digging the intro music by Bear McCreary and so far my favorite character is Calico Jack.

I have watched the first 3 episodes and like it. The story has moved along pretty well. I am at a loss for some of their names but the guy who banged the hot blonde I do like. I thought it was great when he told that chick who seems to be a badass herself that if she moved he would kill her. This could turn out to be a great show, lets see where they take it.

On a side note. I just returned recently from working in Hawaii and a girl who lives on the island was working at the booth next to me and her grandmother owns the company that does all the makeup for the show. She said they are filming season two right now and it is shot in Puerto Rico

I like the show...they have applied the Grimm/Once Upon a Time/Sleepy Hollow et al model to Pirates...I swear hollywood is just searching for story arcs to fictionalize....I'm waiting for the fictionalization of the Mill Cities of pre civil war massachusetts....

Still a good show. I like what they did with Charles Vane in the last episode, but I want to see Billy survive. Also, Randall's a stinker.
