Oh, never mind.

Mayor Bloomberg launches campaign against gun laws

By STACY A. ANDERSON
Associated Press WASHINGTON (AP) - New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg is launching a national campaign against gun laws that he's says "justify civilian gun play."

Bloomberg was joined by leaders from the NAACP, National Urban League and other groups Wednesday at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. as he announced "Second Chance on Shoot First."

The campaign aims to repeal or reform the laws that eliminated a person's duty to retreat when threatened with serious bodily harm or death. The laws have passed in 25 states.

Bloomberg says these laws undermined integrity of justice system, threaten public safety and make it more difficult to prosecute shooters.

The grassroots campaign will contact state legislators who have passed what he terms "shoot first" laws, produce education material for the public and create model legislation.

We all know that, but he doesn't.

Wonder when he is going to get rid of his armed guards...
Or stop hooking up his friends and political contributors with carry licenses for NYC, while telling the "normal people" they don't even need guns, much less a CCW to defend themselves.

Corruption and nepotism in city hall... that's unpossible...

Bloomberg should be facing Civil Rights violations. In a perfect word that is.

Nobody bats an eye at Bloomberg, but Zimmerman will probably face a federal civil rights or hate crime lawsuit because he defended himself from a thug.

It is odd that I'm yet to see a politician's guards retreating instead of opening fire, during an assassination attempt. I guess their lives are more important, so it's different.

This is why bullies are a bigger problem because the liberal ran public schools are teaching us at a young age to take the beating or run and then tell on them... if you survive.

Of course...disarm legal gunowners so their people have an easier time committing crimes with their ill-gotten weapons.
