Just wondering if anyone else is watching Cane on Tuesdays? I love Jimmy Smits and Hector Alenjandro as actors, so I caught it last week. Definetly has shades of Dallas in it, but I think it's got potential.

Because of CBS's trend of cancelling shows, I'm waiting till I hear that it gets picked up for another season and then wait to check out the reruns.

Was half of it in Spanish? I had it on in the background while doing some work and every time I looked over it was subtitled. Maybe I just kept hearing the Spanish and looking it up, confused as what was on.

I try to get into it but it has too similar plot to the first season of The Shield if that is possible.

The horrible police investigation into the murder is overwith finally.

Now it is corporate espionage, sex tapes, infamily fighting, and musical guest Alica Keys.

I like it and yes it really is like Dallas
I was waiting to find out that the daughter of the rival family was really the Kidnapped daughter...that would be a really sick twist!

I missed the first episode or two, but I've been digging the last couple of weeks.

Yep, still diggin' it. Haven't watched last night's ep yet. There is some spanish speaking, but there are subtitles when appropriate. I actually like the native latino bits of speech here and there since that really is how most native spanish people communicate normally. Jimmy Smits is actually an exec producer on the show, and in pre-show interviews he stressed how he wanted the show to be as authentic as possible (yes, whilst being quite Dallas-esque).
