I was listening to the show yesterday, and I heard the boys talking about Obama again.

1) Why doesn't Anthony like him? Cause he's black? I ust find that Anthony talks a lot about it without knowing anything about any of the candidates. I'm pretty undecided right now between McCain and Obama personally.

2) I saw they talked about how Obama's wife kind of didn't care when Stevie Wonder fell off the stage..so I looked it up on youtube. I don't get what they were saying. They said she didn't care, and just left him there, but the video shows she helped him and then walked in front of him once his handler had him. What are the boys trying to do here?

So yeah, what's up with this?

this guy? Dude, I've been around these parts longer than you. I've even participated in a pest attack (I held the camera for the early morning attack on Stern). So don't you even try and get all "this guy" on me.

how about somebody addresses my question and not me as a person? kthxbye

I "ust" don't know what to say. To answer your first question: I don't think Anthony likes him. I'm wondering if you really meant to ask why "doesn't" Anthony like him? It's probably not only because Obama is black. Ant has said a few times that he doesn't think America is ready for a black President, which may or may not be true. He has also said that there are a lot problems that need to be solved and too much emphasis will be placed on race issues. He's being a little paranoid, or maybe a lot paranoid, but does make some good points, in my opinion. There probably would be a lot of over-hyped and over-reported meetings with all the Al Sharpton-type "leaders" with their hands out.

The Stevie Wonder video does show her help him out a little more than they said on the show. She does leave him behind so she can get to the center of the stage faster. Maybe she thought the other person would help him the rest of the way?

It seems like the show isn't really the best place to get all your political talk. Opie said he would never vote for Obama during the Imus situation. Now he's back on board, at least for now. Jimmy thought Obama was a Governor just a couple months ago. Anthony said he had never heard of Duncan Hunter when they used that website to find their candidates. Hunter isn't a household name, but I'm sure all political talk show hosts know who he is.

Your Point #1 is odd because it appears that Anthony doesn't like Obama.

you make some great points regarding the show and how they're probably one of the last places to go for political insight or views. I think Anthony masks his dislike for Democrats based on taxes with his racist funny man persona. I personally make well over the limit for the Bush tax breaks, so it worries me as well.

I don't agree that the country isn't ready for a black president just because I think it's time for the next generation to step up and take action/charge. I think, optimistically that the college crowd looks past race and looks more towards inspiration. I don't think I'd get any arguments as to who the most inspirational candidate is. I also think Obama's ability to raise money is a testament to how strong his base is. These are all good signs, ut the tax issue does worry me, and I think Anthony as well. The racist stuff is all well and good, and part of his persona on the show (personally I don't get offended by stuff, Ijsut find it remarkably unfunny and predicatable, which is weird because I think Anthony might be the funniest person on radio).

#1 Dont give me shit cause you mistype your post and come off as "dosent get the bit guy"

#2 Dont come off as the "feels superior cause I think I have a more personal connection to the show than you do guy". I've been listening since WAAF. Get over yourself.

#3 To finally address your post now that you've corrected yourself. The Obama's wife clip isn't as funny as they made it seem. However, it is pretty funny to see her leave him WAY behind her as she rushes onto the stage after they get up the stairs.

1) I'm giving you shit because you're a dumbass and kind of deserve some shit. You glanced over the whole post and gave no insight in your reply, just a jab. That's just dumb.

2) So now you're "feels superior cause I think I have a more personal connection to the show than you do guy" cause you listened since WAAF. Alright.

3) I'm pretty sure his handler had him by the arm, so she walked ahead of him. Regardless, that was a miniscule part of my point regarding the show's/Anthony's view on Barack Obama.

Hey everyone, its "Doesn't get the bit" guy. He also goes by "takes things too seriously" guy and "Doesn't realize that this is a comedy show and not CNN" guy. You may know him from his many performances on the "I need to get a life and stop thinking I am above it all" Show!

Is it really a "bit"? Do you think Anthony doesn't actually feel this way?

The rest you're probably right about except I have a very nice and lucrative life, but I do think I've above a lot of this crap. So you're 50-50

How about trying to address the question next time? Or are you "above it all"?

1. Because Obama is potentially a radical liberal socialist with what would seem to be an inbred propensity to pander to special interest groups. These special interest groups would seem to consist of mainly peoples that do not share let alone may flat-out oppose Anthony's interests as well as mine and about 50% of the posters here give or take. I could go on and on but I don't have the time or the energy to list all the ways the liberals will ruin this country.

(in other words... Obama is a ninja with a ninja's agenda):action-sm

2. Umm ,that's how it looked to me.

Now you can label me "ruined the bit guy"

so you're saying 50% of this board is conservative? odd considering the conservatives are what are trying to constantly get O&A thrown off the radio (FCC).

I think you need to calm down with the socialist crap. I think you're misinformed and a little bit of a zealot.

If you'd like to prove me wrong, please reference directly with the candidates views and give reasons why they will "ruin the country". I will then counter. Failure to do so will do nothing but ruin your argument.

Shame shame troll-bait.
There are plenty of interest group on each side of the fence that you so conveniently exclude.
The ACLU and the PMRC are 2 very liberal groups.
I am not here to argue those point. You asked a question I answered. A question answered with opinion.
Just because I will not back up my claims with a dissertation does not invalidate my opinion.
"absence of evidence is not evidence of absence."
You are lucky you got an answer at all instead of a shitload of black cock pics.

You didn't like my answer as well as any of the others here so you got bitchy.
Sound like you need to be the one that needs to calm down, buddy.

I used the wavey hand guy for a reason but now you seem to be just needling and attacking me Ad Hominem... I do that shit all the time so it's easy for me to recognize when someone tries it with me.

So in closing move on asswhipe you posted here 130 times since 04 and now everyone is suppose to bow to you cause you added nothing for 4 years? And you throw this around like it holds weight ? I'm not attacking as much as I baited you into a response..you took it...and a shitty response at that.

You really might have no idea what you're talking about because instead of a united congress and executive branch (being all democrat), you're pulling for a lame duck for 8 years. Isn't time for mixing it up a bit. You say the liberals will fuck up the country..but what has happened in the last 8 years? We've lost ground to foreign countries in not only economics, but in technology, manufacturing, and services, as well as our relations. We've wasted trilions of dollars abroad with no ROI, and we don't have a balanced budget because of our massive deficit. not to mention we've printed worthless money (your very own Ron Paul said this, and as cooky as he is, he's right when it came to economics).

So instead you waffle. You say "the country will go to shit!!", but it already is. You use the very same scare tactics O&A talk about on the show to scare people when they watch the news. You pander to the right, which is fine, but you have no insight into the left without bias. I am right of center, but at least I get the left. I understand the purpose and action plan of both sides.

You will make an uninformed and poor decision come november no matter who you vote for, not because of the candidate but because you fail to be objective. You are about as un-American as they come. You're more of a totaliatrian. Enjoy that.

The funny thing about all this is that, when you look at their actual policies, Obama isn't more "liberal" than Hillary Clinton. Her ideas for health care, for example, are more government-based and universal, and therefore what would be considered liberal.

While Anthony is cartoonishly right-wing, the fact that he expresses the most ire towards Obama betrays his real racism.

Fortunately, that shit is hilarious. The "bit," intentional or not, is that the more he talks about it, the more insane he sounds.

And despite the O&A&J's political ignorance, you won't learn anymore about politics watching CNN et al.

Wow with all of the insult slinging it's hard for me to decide by which one to be most offended.

You know nothing of my patriotism, politics background, or character.
Lose the name calling and character bashing and someone might take your points seriously.
Maybe this bait and switch arguing works for you elsewhere with others.
It won't with me.

Ummm back to your original post...
You asked. I offered an opinion. Drop the shitty attitude and get over yourself.

Wow. I can't believe I thought you couldn't get humor or needed to get a life.

Your topic of politics is fine, but go to CNN.com or FoxNews.com and debate over there.

"You don't go to CNN for dick jokes so don't come to [the O&A show] for politics."

did you just tell me to stop nam calling and insulting and then say "Drop the shitty attitude and get over yourself."..irony?

you didn't respond to anything I said in my post, so how am I supposed to respond to your off-topic response? I think you're misinformed about how liberals could ruin this country. I gave my reasons why, you don't rebuke them. I'm sorry that you feel you're above it all, but you have done nothing in this thread to make me respect your knowledge. In fact, you've done the opposite.

I'd love to debate you, but a debate is a give and take. Your take has nothing to do with my give.
