Surprised there isn't a thread yet. It's the first original series from BBC America. Watched the first episode and it was pretty good. I just love 19th century New York.

I went like 5 pages back and didn't find one. Meh, whatever.

That was a brilliant fucking plan.

After the way ended, I really don't know what to make of Robert Morehouse.

Is William Poole portrayed in this? If he is I am in. William Poole was the inspiration for Bill the Butcher in Gangs of New York.

If William Poole survived the Draft Riots, then there is a chance that he could still show up.

Four episodes in and I already like this show more than I do Hell On Wheels.

Poole died in 1855, this series is set in the 1860s.

I guess a one legged man can win an ass kicking contest after all.

I didn't see that ending coming. I just thought Eva was going to cut off Molly's hair.

There is more than meets the eye to little Annie. Just add it to the list of good performances by child actors in recent years.

Brutal ending. Totally didn't see it coming. Jeez. Isn't ANYONE being straight with Corkey? Seems like everyone just lies to him.

I'm all caught up on Copper and I like it, but does anyone else think it's too dark? So many scenes just look like stringy haired men in silhouette.

Its probably done on purpose to make it look more realistic.

Yes, they were still using Gas and Oil lamps back then. I just change my light setting on my TV to Sports Mode to brighten it up a bit. Most modern TV's have a setting where you can toggle between several brightness or picture modes. Mine has PC, Sports, Theater, Standard, Game, Autoview.

That little girl is more trouble than she's worth.

Oh and I love the fact they incorporated the "Confederate" plot to burn down NYC into the show.

That throat action surprised me. I expected repercussions, but damn.....the storyline is moving around a bit, digging it.
