I have never been to Centralia. I live about an hour away. My dad has though. I'll see if he has any pictures of the place.

While not exactly creepy, if you're in the Nanticoke area, you outta check out Concrete City

Its an abandoned apartment complex for railroad employees in like 1910

They tried to demolish the buildings but 100 years later they are still standing

I'll have to check that place out. When I was in Pittsburgh I wanted to visit some areas, but I really don't want to deal with the homeless. Tons of abandoned factories and houses surround the outskirts of the city. I really wanted to visit the Dixmont asylum, but they tore it down a few months before I moved to Pittsburgh. I miss city life.

I'll give em a state, a state of unconsciousness

I am staying at pocono manor...opened aug 16th 1902...been here 12 days...bartenders and workers here have all told me creepy ghost stories...and spirits that have been here many years...there are 4 levels under the basement that led down to the river,as the undergrond railroad came throgh here. A little girl fell down the smaller staircase in the 20,s and a woman has come here for years,to visit her spirit...she rolls a beach ball to playroom near stairs...and the ball gets rolled back to her...I have seen strange shadows...glowing red orbs...There are pictures of orbs glowing at night and ghost rocking in a rocking chair late at night.original owners had small dogs staying with them in main suite...and people still call front desk and ask to have the barking dogs be quiet late at night...they tell guests that no animals have stayed in here for over 100 years...Creepy place...but it does not seem Evil...friendly spirits from what bartenders have told me...and they been here last 20 years...creepy in winter...when very few stay here...Think "The Shining"
