'Asshole' was a humorous tune. Kiss My A$$ is, as Jambi said, a FUCKING steaming pile of shit. O&A were too polite/scared to say anything, though.

I bet, 100%, that O&A signaled ERock or Roland, who then asked Breuer to crash the show in order to distract Leary.

edit: and the album which had 'Asshole' on it was a complete rip off of Bill Hicks.

Oh, they said plenty with their sound clips after the first playing.

I head that. They really put themselves into an awkward position, but managed to get out of it. Back in the day, they would've crucified Leary. But nowadays... well, you know.

Well, a few years ago didn't they play clips of Leary's stolen jokes with clips of Hicks doing them 5-8 years before that? Then had Leary on within a month and said NOTHING about it?

They did sound clips all over it. They knew it sucked.

Asshole was so much funnier.

This is just a different angle on the same subject
and not done very well.

Leave that to Richard Cheese and Lounge Against the Machine.

I'm a Leary fan. I thought it was ok. Not great, not bad. Ok.

Then...we all lose. Unfortunately, my hearing wasn't included.

Actually, if Hicks were still alive, we still lose. It's the Kobayashi Maru of comedy. (With Mike Birbiglia as the opening act)

Opening act would run out the second story window while still asleep.

Yes, Bill Hicks died of cancer a while back. If your standard for winning in comedy is "not dying yet", then Leary is the winner, yes. Him and Charlie Sheen are the great victors of the funniest person ever contest, as long as no other living person (comedian or otherwise) is allowed to participate.

In fact, by that standard, he's also a greater baseball player than Babe Ruth, and a more accomplished physicist than Einstein.

Which all goes to show you, your standard of who "wins" is quite moronic.

Not quite as moronic as your post, but thanks for trying.
