Her, I get. Him, I thought would hold out for a Venom/Joker-level standalone film really. He could carry that with his character's near-antihero redemption.

I like Hiddleston's Loki, but can he carry a season of a show? Or is he sharing time with Scarlet Witch?

I figure Loki has to be some sort of prequel or "between movies" series....for obvious reasons.

SW is so new, her series almost has to be post-Infinity

Otherwise it's going to be her and stupid Quicksilver as humans wandering around Sokovia being Eurotrash.

Villain movies don’t work, as WB is going to find out next year.
I thought you hated prequels. ...
I don’t think these will be Prequels.

Um...the Loki one has to be.

He died before the snap, he's a goner. [/spoiler ]

After the merger they own a controlling stake, that's all they need, right?
Why start a streaming service that millions of people already have? They're not going to be content with just the Hulu people when they can charge the Hulu people twice. Or distract people with non-Disney programming.

They found that out with BvS.
I don’t feel like finding the Star Wars thread, but Bob Iger said it was a mistake to release 1 movie per year and they are going to be pumping the brakes after episode 9.

"We're spending a hundred million on a Star Wars series! People will be psyched! That will get everyone to sign up for our service!"
...
"Hey Tom Hiddleston. Do you like money?"

I wouldn't hold to that. It wasn't so obvious so as to imply that it was unquestionable.

There has to be some consequences.

His throat was crushed and the ship blew up. Dude is dead.

The only way they undo this is if the snap brings everyone back, which is terrible.

The only people who dies before the snap was Heimdall, Loki, Gamora and Vision.

Gamora's soul is in the soul stone, IMO. She's coming back.

So now we're down to three. I could actually see them bringing Vision back once they get access to the stones. He's just a robot, after all.

So now we are down to two. Heimdall can't be the only one who stays dead from IW.

Have you read my theory on how Loki gets brought back, along with Heimdall, Hogun, Volstagg, and Fandral?

In the Thor Ragnarok comic, Thor allows Ragnarok to happen much like in the movie, but he “dies” along with the rest of the Asgardians. When he is eventually revived, he learns all the supposedly dead Asgardians are trapped inside human bodies, and he has to find them and free them one by one.

So I think Thor will “die” in Avengers 4, completing Ragnarok, and the 4th Thor movie will feature Valkyrie, Korg, Miek, Sif and Jane teaming up to find the human that Thor is trapped in. (Guessing it will be Jane’s ex boyfriend Donald Blake.) This is a potentially hilarious setup for a movie, with Korg and the rest interacting with ordinary humans thinking they are secretly Asgardians. Think Star Trek IV.

God damn it @Pigdango

Marvel Studios is reportedly set to produce a new animated anthology TV series, based on its popular “What If” comic book series, which will air on the upcoming Disney+ streaming service.

Kevin Feige and Marvel Studios will oversee the series which will NOT be canon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Instead, the stories will explore how the Marvel Cinematic Universe might have unfolded if key moments in its history had not occurred as they did in recognized canon.

Jeremy Renner’s Hawkeye is the latest member of the Marvel Cinematic Universe to line up his own Disney+ series.

Variety has learned from sources that Disney’s upcoming streaming service is officially developing a limited series based on the archery ace Marvel character with Renner attached to star. The project is said to be an adventure series in which Clint Barton, a.k.a. Hawkeye, will pass the torch to Kate Bishop. Bishop is a Marvel Comics character who took up the Hawkeye mantle after Barton. She is also a member of the group known as the Young Avengers.
Is Kate Bishop who Katherine Langford is playing?

It's official, Disney's new streaming service, Disney+, will launch on November 12, 2019 in the U.S. and will be available for $6.99 a month.

The Walt Disney Company gave the world its first glimpse at the platform Thursday evening and detailed a lot of what subscribers can expect.

One of the first big features is that the streaming service will let users download everything they want and access it offline, for as long as they remain a subscriber. Users will also be able to make individual profiles and build custom avatars featuring characters from the vast Disney collection. There will also be options for parental controls for younger users.

The streaming service will be ad-free and available on internet connected TV and mobile devices.

Disney+ will also be offering a slightly discounted option for those willing to pay for a year up front. The annual option will be $69.99, which comes to about $5.83 per month.

The presentation included highlights of what the streaming service will offer from across several of the company’s iconic brands including Disney animated films, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, Walt Disney Studios, National Geographic and Disney Channel.

When the service launches it'll feature Disney's entire Signature Collection, which includes classic animated films.

Agnes Chu, Senior VP of Content for Disney+, said that when the service launches it will include at least 9 original series, movies and documentaries. Within the first year, they expect to have 25 original series and more than 10 original movies and specials.

In addition, the streaming service will have more than 100 recent movies and more than 400 library titles.

Senior VP of Content for Disney+, Agnes Chu, presents an overwhat of what's to come to Disney's new streaming service.

Disney

Disney Channel, which marks its 36th anniversary next week, will be bringing more than 5,000 episodes of Disney Channel and Disney Jr. content to the streaming service. Plus, more than 100 Disney Channel Original Movies (or “DCOMS”) will be on Disney+.

And with Disney's acquisition of 21st Century Fox, the Disney+ streaming service will also become the new home for everything "Simpsons."
