There are many who wish they could get inside themselves......

Oh, to answer the thread question, you are not alone when you listen to the Ron and Fez show. You are part of a community.

Especially my Listening Thread Buddays!!!!!

To answer your question, no it does not. It may be nice, and relaxing, and it may ease your mind. But it is not alone time.

Yes, and if you listen long enough, Arch "Rich" Vos will call the show and offer a dryer door for sale.

Yeah. Unless you're actively participating in what's going on, it's still just entertainment. The "being part of a community" brings you closer to interaction, but you're still not actually with other people.

i sorta participate... i've phoned... and i mail every so often...
sent dave a wedding gift... a case of pringles...
so far, they've come up 3 times on the show...lol

most recently.. earl going ballistic and complaining about potato chips
and dave leaving a ton of pringle 'bottles' around the office for earl to pick up...

i have a feeling the pringle party is on me...

I read an article a while back where they did some research on people who watch a lot of sitcoms and listen to talk radio. They found out that those people's brain functions in a way where the people feel that they are more social and have more close friends than they actually do. Wish I could remember where I read it and the specifics of it.

So I guess in a way it's not exactly "alone" time since it's probable that your brain processes it as if you are hanging out with some real life friends.
