I have been ripping my dvds on my hard drive recently because I like to watch them on my laptop. I use dvd shrink and it works for every dvd I have except for any movie made by Universal. Anyone know how a solution to the problem?

Look for a program called Ripit4me. It has not been updated in a long time but it still works for the most part and is free. It also works perfectly with Imgburn as well. Do note I have had some issues with some Sony discs but that is pretty rare.

AnyDVD from Slysoft works great. It runs in the background all the time, you can just copy the DVD with normal Windows copy tools.
    There's a 30 day free trial.

Anydvd is worth buying. They have frequent updates and usually stay ahead of the latest copy protection schemes. Plus it works on both DVD and Blu Ray disks.
