ESPN "My Wish" Segments

    Apparently it's time that time of year for the "My Wish" segments.
    Where dying kids get to meet their favorite athletes, and make me sad.

    I'm just trying to watching some highlights, and then boom, dying kid story.
    Then I get that one or 2 little tears trickling down and feel bad the rest of the day. God damn ESPN...

    I saw one yesterday with some kid with Leukemia met Landon Donovan. Just seeing that little fucker as happy as he was got me.

    They played it on ESPN radio the other day as I was driving... Man, that was a tough drive.

    See I rather have these segments aired during Sportscenter and on their own show, than played during the afternoon before the Super Bowl.

    It is some heart wrenching stuff though.

    This stuff gets me and the Jimmy V speech from the Espy's gets me every time. Especially the last line from Valvano
