I learned by our business getting bigger n bigger... when we got into plumbing a casino level.... the sharks got bigger and faster the more the $ went up.

my brother is a first rate screw everyone to get to the top... even a his brother;)

but even he knew at that point these particular scumbags were out of his league.

I will always be poor... because I will always be moral.

Too true. Had a deal on the table a few months ago that was going to yield me a commision nearly double my salary from my last year working in retail. Some scumbag agent from another company came in and showed the guy something that was going to cost him a few thousand less per year, but would do dick for him in the long run, and the scumbag sold it as the greatest program ever. The client took the deal without even calling me. My dream of financial security for the next year was snatched right away.

Distortion's depression, combined with his love of firearms, could have some far-reaching, Negative Nelly consequences.

Are you sure that this "dream" is what you really want, or is it some sort of subconscious ideal or obligation other people are expecting you to have? Are you sure that the way you're going is the only possible way to obtain this dream?

What is your obsession with other peoples hobby of firearms collecting?

You seem to be a bit mentally unbalanced, thus then, projecting your insecurities onto others. Please seek professional help, or just jump in front of a train. :action-sm

A relative on my wife's side was dying, so he wanted us to have a house he owned. Leaving it in a will would kill me in inheritance tax, so we were in the middle of negotiating a legal "buy out" without the tax consequence. He died suddenly before we could finalize the agreement, and all the closer relatives dove in and took control of the estate and sold it all. I tried telling them about the deal, they could care less and walked away with the cash.

No ... I refuse to dream because I don't want to face the reality of disappointment.

Doesn't that ensure disappointment?

Just change the nomenclature, and call it planning. Plans always change.

I'm on Lexapro, Wellbutrin, and Depakote. Sometimes I take Indoril (or Inderal, however it's spelled) too because the combination of the aforementioned three give me the jitters.

Nope, doesn't ensure disappointment at all. By not daring to dream, if something good happens it's a pleasant surprise. Otherwise, the disappointment and feeling that I'm a failure don't exist. For me at least, it's a win-win situation

My grand dad was a millionaire and he died before his gold digging wife, who had no affiliation to the family what-so-ever.

My family saw exactly jack and shit.
