They sell a bunch of other classic games. I own the original game CD, but over the years lost the original box and manuals. You can download all that along with a 205 page Fallout Bible.

The original was actually made for multiple operating systems because the code wasn't dependent on a single one. Thanks for the link!

Got it. I couldn't get my disc version to work, so this is great.
You can do a manual install to get the game to work with NT file systems. MS wouldn't give games windows compatible certification if it would work on Windows NT so the installer checks to see if you are using the NT file system. You can also get around the check by installing it in DosBox.

It installs, the colors are all fucked up, it does the same with F2 but pallettestealer suspender fixes that. It doesn't work with the first fallout game though. The digital copy from gog works fine.

GOG uses Dosbox with FO1. It's a lot easier using the GOG installer than installing Dosbox and the game yourself. Plus there isn't any DRM.

Something I noticed playing this version is that the kids are missing. I did some googling and it turns out that the GOG version is the censored UK version. Rather than rewriting code to make killing kids impossible, it was easier to just cut them completely. No salty foul language either.

I hope they did the same thing for Fallout 2, only cause those little pricks mug you in that one city. Den was it?

There's online pirated versions that have the kids still. I would know because that's how I first played Fallout.
