I'm impressed with the look of modern day Frankenstein.

looks more like Jerry got his throat slashed rather than a Frankenstein Monster rehash.

This show looks fucking stupid. You can't remake this show and expect people who loved the original to just take a bite of this shit sandwich and enjoy it.

They need to stop rehashing shit for the sake of the fools who don't know any better.

Though to be fair, of the three people left alive who still care about the original Munsters, at least two of them never figured out the digital TV transition.

The "Grandpa" looks like shit. Plus, it's Eddie Izzard, who's shit.
I like some Portia de Rossi, but not enough to watch this garbage.

No way it lasts more than 10 episodes before it's pulled.

It wasn't given a series. NBC just had the expensive pilot and figured fuck it, we have nothing else going on. It's all part of Jack's Tank The Network scheme.

So, why doesn't Herman look like a Frankenstein monster?

I didn't even recognise Portia De Rossi until I read her name next to the picture.

Even back in the ALLY MCBEAL days I thought she was the hottest gap-lapper I'd ever seen.

Oh, so it's just the pilot, and that's it?
Just because it's Halloween time...

(I don't read linked articles, only pictures)
Yeah, it didn't get good reviews so they canned the series
and it's just a Halloween special. Not that it looks very
special from what I've seen.

I actually didn't mind the fact that Herman didn't look like Frankenstein. I thought it was kinda clever to show him as a good looking guy with an obviously grafted on head. It might not have sucked, if they had a good hook for it.

I remember loving the "Here Come The Munsters" in 1995, watching it a lot of tape...
But I was 11, and would watch anything

I think The Munster's is a true classic, and the humor still holds up today. I heard about this a few months back and was disgusted by the very idea of it. Looks like I was right, and why was Jerry O'Connell anywhere near this disaster?
