Looks like the last surviving members of this movement are getting desperate for attention.
Ugh... no, dipshit. You don't get to set the parameters of your desecration of the American flag.
Like... "I burned the American flag to show my contempt for Disneyland and Taco Bell. But I'm totally cool with all the rest."
Shame! Shame! Shame! Shame! Shame! Shame! Shame! Shame!
They were already desperate for attention; hence the Occupy movement.
We get it, asshole.
Where's Rick Monday when you really need him these days?
He looks like Harland Williams.
"Son, I am disappoint"
Well, technically, your motivation is your motivation. Your motivation isn't what others determine your motivation to be.
I'm sure you totally would have done all of it the exact same way had a bunch of Marines been standing there, too. "No guys, I fully support you, I'm just burning this flag to show my disdain for corpora...." *snap
Politically speaking I'm all for the freedom to burn a piece of fabric no matter what's printed on it, but the people who typically exercise that freedom make me hate them 100% of the time.
Ugh. If that doesn't scream "I'm angry at Mom & Dad for spoiling me my entire life" I don't know what does.
boring unoriginal cunts
I'm not talking about the parameters of the motivation behind the desecration. What I'm talking about is the parameters of how you expect others to react to your desecrations.
If your dad was the CEO of a company, and after he died I dug up his corpse and buttfucked it in order to demonstrate my contempt for capitalist exploitation, maaaaaan! Could I then expect you not to take offense because my motivation had been to protest capitalism, and I was not at all motivated to insult you personally?
