Seriously, am I the only one who has problems with this piece of bloatware, or is it just accepted that iTunes will be huge, will require updates more often than anything else on my PC (except maybe Java...), will freeze up at least once a day, and will generally be a giant pain in the ass?

Apple "just works"? Not if you play with anything outside their little sandbox it doesn't. Fucktards.

My wife uses it. I don't. It's not that bad but I do hate Apple's
tight control over all of their shit. They want to be sure you buy
all you stuff from them and they control it big time.

I bought an Zen Vision M years ago. Works great, I can get music
and video from any source and it plays fine and best of all, I can get
it all for free. Fuck Apple and their controlling ways.

Ha! Same here. The only thing I ever had to do was crack it open and replace the battery. Works like a champ.

I only have to use to back up my chicks phone... but when I use the software to back up my Android it hangs... so I have disable some Itunes file for the HTC software to work.

I've never had iTunes crash on my PC.

Also, the updates are often, but is it really that bad?

I used iTunes once about four years ago. I will never buy an Apple product in my life because of that experience. I even purchased a shitty Zune in 2006... that's how much I hate Apple.

I didn't say it crashes my PC. I said it freezes, which requires me to dump the program and then restart it.

Combine that with the lack of real control in some annoying areas (ie- the fucking nanny program will just decide that I haven't been listening to a given podcast for a while, so it'll stop downloading that podcast), and I'm just fucking pissed at the damn thing.

Yes. Plus, it begs you to add Safari every time it updates, which I don't fucking want, haven't fucking wanted, but it has to fucking ask me every damn time it forces me to update the damn software.

    Fuck Apple and its bullshit.
