Below is an email i just sent to Resorts. We had been looking forward to a night away for about 2 months and it really sucked. I will let you guys know what kind of response I get.

I should have known better, but it seemed as though they were trying to catch up to the other casinos in AC.

The customer base sucked dick (literally) too. I have never seen so many queers in my life. It was all fags and old nigs. What a fucking waste.

My wife and I just returned from a night away from our four small children. We decided to spend that evening in your hotel. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. Checking in tookl well over a half an hour, although there was only one person on line in front of us. When we finally got to our room we were very happy with the accomodations. However, we were again disappointed when we tried to eat at one of the gourmet restaurants and found that they would all be closing by 9pm and 9:30, so we had to settle for some sanwhiches at your Breadsticks cafe.

I spent the evening in your casino and although I was not very lucky, I was happy that one of your pit bosses was able to give me and my wife complimentary breakfast at your buffet.

We arrived at the buffet only to find that it was closed until 11AM. We patiently waited. People started getting in line and they changed the next sitting time to 11:15, so we had to wait even longer although the restaurant was empty.

Once we got inside we had our most disappointing experience as we seemed to be a bother to the wait staff. Your restaraunt was well staffed, but they seemed more interested in talking amongst themselves rather that provide us with the service that we have been accustomed to at other casinos in Atlantic City.

Also when we checked in the young lady who checked us in was more concerned with the fact that my wife had booked the room through a third party. He instructed that we would get better rates if we called the hotel directly.

On a Thursday night we could have stayed cheaper at virtually any casino, but my wife was impressed with your accomodations and we decided to spend a little more. Unfortunately your staff is not quite up to standard.

Regards

I'd consider using spell check before sending that out. People who generally read this and see the spelling errors tend to not give your complaint the necessary attention it deserves....just sayin'

Resorts is on the seedier side of the Boardwalk. It's the only thing I'm not happy about with regards to my timeshare which is right across the street from Resorts.

Did you see any hookers? We were walking back from the Taj one night and a hooker was getting into a cab on the street by Resorts. My friend Jenn was so drunk that she wanted to go after the woman to try to "save her soul". Fortunately the rest of us were a little more sober - not by much though - and were able to hold her back.

They'll probably comp you a night. Make sure they put you in the Rendezvous Tower or in a suite in the Ocean Tower. Do not settle for a standard room.

I'm at the point where I've decided that there is no reason to go anywhere other than the Borgata.

The only bright spot was the room and it was in the Rendezvous tower..........

I'd love to go, but their weekend rates are outrageous. Any way to score an inexpensive stay?
Stay somewhere cheaper and go up there to play. Make sure you get their rewards card or whatever it's called. The more you play the more they'll comp you.

At least that's the way it works in the other casinos. My folks are "diamond club" members at Bally's and they were comped a room for this weekend - a holiday weekend. I could've gotten a $49 room at the Taj but with the timeshare, I don't really need it.

That comp card shit really works? I had one for the Tropicana, I think I used it regularly, but never really scored anything more than a discount at the buffet. I'll have to give it a try one weekend...I'd love to spend a night there, but not for $400/500.

Each place is different - I played at Bally's once and didn't get anything but my sister did. I was playing nickels, she was playing quarters. My folks meantime have been playing for years between here & Vegas & are always getting comped. Not to mention they made it to diamond status so they can eat & drink for free at the Diamond Club.

Meantime, at the Taj I play nickels and get offers for $49 rooms at least once a month.

Speaking of, I gotta get ready - we're heading down for Jimmy's show and to hang out for the weekend & I'm not even dressed let alone packed!!

x1000.....In one line you called the person who checked you in both a she and a he. Unless it really was a tranny then never mind.

Bingo. The Boardwalk sucks monkey ass. For crack heads and golfers.
QFT

Have to agree the Borgata is the deal.

my wife and I visited the AC boardwalk for a day this summer and witnessed a golfer literally being tossed on his head out the boardwalk exit doors of Trump, the whole "I dinent do shit muth fucka" sceanario.
