FU to people that don't clean up their campaign lawn signs

#1
Not even going into how stupid campaign lawn signs are to begin with and how dumb I think it looks to have them on your own lawn, FU to people that line roads with them and then don't pick them up after election day. My commute to work is littered with them (as many as 20 on some corners) and it just makes the area look like crap.

Is it just an olden-days thing? Cheap advertising back when
Because now, they only people who would see a sign on my lawn are the 20 people who live down this subdivision street, nobody else. It just makes me think, "Oooooh a teapartier...?"

I'm not talking about the ones that are actually on people's lawns. That's their property to do with as they see fit, and people usually take them down right after election day. I'm talking about the ones that people put on public property. Places like on ramps, high traffic intersections, every 100 yards along busy roads, the grass divider on divided highways. They put them everywhere, then election day comes and goes, and they don't take them down.

Oh... Gotcha.
Yeah, I guess if you're the losing party, the people that would have put those signs up aren't going to go get them.
The volunteers, the people that don't get paid, after the election is over and they lose... Where's the incentive?

Let the people that voted for the winner deal with it.

A week since the election and there are still too many to count peppering my commute, winners and losers alike. Clean up your garbage, scumbags!

I really enjoy the bumper stickers on telephone poles & street lights for a sheriff election that took place 20 years ago.
