They are all over the place here. Our cat kills and eats any that end up in the house.

That's very hurtful, sir.

Its that time of year.

I have one of those wand sprayers that you attach to the garden hose, I put a mild detergent in the sprayer and wash them down off the house. Seems to take out most of them.

Yeah, I first really saw them big time last year and they are
definitely worse this year.

Definitely alot more around than last year. I might start firing up my bug zapper again to see if that gets any of them outside.

I've had a problem with the tree stink bugs for the last few years. More of them in the past couple of years. I've begun to notice (& smell) them over the past couple of weeks.

I fucking hate these things. I kill em off with spray, but it doesn't really help. I doubt the bug zapper will work.

I'd really like to know why there are more, & why they seem to love my house so much. I need to replace some windows.

At night, any room that has lights on ends up with a bunch of them on the outside of the window. They seem to be attacted to light, so I figure the bug zapper might take out some of them. I'll know in the morning. :)

let me know if it works.. I haven't noticed them outside too much, but they are attracted to light once they're in.

can't quite afford to replace too many windows right now... However, I do have a ton of marine adhesive/caulk & epoxy... Hellooooo nig rig!

I put the bug zapper out earlier. I have an empty trashcan with a bag in it directly underneath the zapper. I'll check the bag and the zapper for any signs of stinkbug carnage tomorrow morning.

Yup worse in my hood too. Although not as much a pain in the ass as box elder bugs. So far none of those.

I am getting the box elder bugs right now. I happen to have a stash of malathion which is working on killing them, but I still have a few that are getting into the house. I hate the spotted beetles more (the ones that look like ladybugs but aren't). Those really stink when you squish them.

Did that end up working for you? They're all over my home especially in my office and bedroom. It's not even warm in there! I try to keep it colder than the rest of the house, but they stay near my lamps. Little bastards. :mad4:

I've got the fucking box elder bugs everywhere. I put a zapper on the porch and killed what looked like millions one day and the next day I had a million more. These fuckers are terrible. Nothing gets rid of the fuckers.

i always called them Japanese beetles, anyway stink bugs elicits a douche-chills reaction, I don't like em, I say fire bombs are sufficient

These stinkbugs are the fucking worst! I found a simple solution that seems to be working. Since they are attracted to light and to their own smell, I hung some flypaper from a lit lightbulb in my attic/loft. I stuck a stinkbug to the paper and crushed it so the stink is on the paper. I left it alone and in 2 days I had 6 stinkbugs.
I cant wait to see how many there are tomorrow...

6? If you got 6 you missed another 6,000 nearby. Fuckers are a plague.
